A simple nice hotel but not a 4 star hotel .

The hotel is in the city.Not at the Spa Island.It is a nice clean hotel, the the team workers are serveable and nice always with a smile .We searched especially a hotel with an air condition because of a special private situation. The air condition did not work properly even when it was on 16 degrees!!!We had to ask for a vintelator. l asked to change to a better air condition room but they said that they can't change the room.also at the beginning the safe in the room didn't work, and they had to bring a specialist to fix it.

Not to recommend

The hotel is overestimated, the price is exaggerated. Our journey started with a false booking ( we prepaid the hotel one Monat in advance) and the booking could not be found.
The false fire alarm system woke us up at 2 p.m and there were no apologies, reimbursement or announcement.
The wellness area is not so great as pictures shows. The water in swimming pool is too cold, whirlpool's temperature was 24 degrees. The breakfast menu was basic as well.for this price you can definitely find a better quality.

Amazing crew and wonderful hotel

We spent 2 nights there and had an amazing time. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern disigned. The breakfast is wonderful and they even serve cappuccino (the first hotel in Slovakia that did not charge extra for this)
Mark and all the crew were happy to help us with every need. Highly recommended, We will surely come back again

Dispappointed - expectations were higher based on the reviews.

The family room was basic but clean and quite nice-specially bathroom, however the aircorn unit was only in the bedroom and not greatly located,nice touch - the wine on arrival (despite the fact that we did not get it for every guest), the welness area was small but quite nice, the weranda with hot-tub was basic - could be better and nicer equiped, the car park quite shabby, breakfast was nice but not much choice, and behaviour of the older cleaner inappropriate and rude (basic manners training would be highly recommended) - if you are lucky you might no get woken up at 7am in the morning!. I expected more from the 4 star hotel...

Dental treatment

Surprise, surprise...I have never stayed at this hotel, hotel Løwe, before. We were met by an upgraded room/suite, a welcome drink, friendly staff, excellent service, and of course the best; the japanese toilet, which I haven't seen in use since visiting Japan.
We will be back
