Thank you Andrea

We had a wonderful experience at Meander Resort in Oravice, thanks to Andrea at the reception.
When we arrived, unfortunately the reservation system was temporarily not working, so we had to wait about 10–15 minutes. Andrea handled the situation with exceptional professionalism and kindness. She invited us to sit down, offered us glasses of water, and even kindly offered to share her own Milka chocolate bar with us. We were truly touched by her hospitality.
To make up for the inconvenience, Andrea also offered us a small discount, which was greatly appreciated by both me and my elderly mother. Her genuine care, warmth, and respect made us feel truly valued as guests.
Meander Resort is very fortunate to have such a wonderful employee. Andrea's kindness and dedication deserve recognition and appreciation.
We will definitely be coming back, and we will gladly recommend Meander Resort to our family and friends. Thank you, Andrea, for making our stay start with such a positive experience!

Quiet heated pools in the Tatra mountains

The day after going to the Polish thermal baths in Chochołowska, we came here. Very similar experience, wrist bands for lockers and entry, and several pools of warm water with various jets of water for thise who like that sort of thing. But for us, this was so much nicer just because it is much less crowded. There aresn't so many attractions but enough to enjoy a few hours of naturally heated water on a freezing winter's night. If you are a party person, go to Poland. If not, come here.

Foully, disgusting and anclean

People go to the pool with children wearing diapers. We saw it with our own eyes. The man was holding the child right by the water jet. Baby excrement came out of the diapers thanks to the water pressure! The staff told us on our warning, that these were "special diapers" and that the baby could still be there! Meanwhile, the man with the child used all the pools. We wanted to throw up. Even though we had paid for two full-day admissions (38 Euros), we left immediately. We were only there for 1.5 hours. The shift manager didn't want to talk to us. She said she had a meeting. We waited for the end of the meeting but still no one came. So we left without addressing this situation with someone in charge.
If this money factory (I don't call it the Thermal Spa on purpose) is full of visitors, the jets, waterfalls, etc. don't work. The employee told us that when there are more people, they will turn on the attractions. Dear money factory staff, we are paying customers too!
There is a closed cafe on the first floor. It is no longer in operation because the main season has closed. But there were dried coffee glasses, plates from meals and other dishes on the tables. The bistro on the ground floor offers extremely overpriced food. And as far as the bistro area is concerned, there is nothing extra. But there are Michelin prices. The food is not look appealing to the customer.
In conclusion: you are bathing in excrement, if you want to visit a cafe, you can only sit down by dirty dishes. If you want to use the attractions, wait until there are more people. The dining room on the ground floor is very expensive and you won't find anything appealing there.
