Lovely accommodation and stay

My wife booked four nights at Vila KOMAN. Alen, the owner, is extremely welcoming. The Vila is beautiful with loads of character. Room was clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast for kings and all very good value. Location is superb with lovely view of mountains and plenty of hiking trails. It’s rare to find a gem like this in Europe. Lovely stay. Lovely accommodation.

Beware Vila Koman

There are places to stay in this lovely area where inn-keepers like their jobs, are helpful and considerate humans, and are open-minded. But do not stay here for these qualities! One of the worst experiences I have had. Not bad rooms, but if you are not comfortable with being judged and critiqued by this inn-keeper, I would stay far away, as he makes his disgust of others who aren't like him known (non-traditional couples, mothers traveling without their children). At the time that I visited, he was also running for president of Slovenia, so he seemed quite distracted and irritated by having guests!

The owner of our accomodation NEVER run for president of anything.
Our guests could NEVER know how we see people regarding their lifestyle as we NEVER discuss this with our guests.

A warm welcome awaits at this wonderful Vila Koman

What a warm welcome we received from our host in this family run Vila. This continued throughout our 3 night stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room in this beautiful old house was very comfortable with a great shower. We were able to sit in front of the fire and look out to the mountains whilst relaxing on the sofa in the evenings. Breakfast was very high quality cheese, meats free range eggs and much more, it was beautifully presented. The host spoke brilliant English and helped us with his local knowledge re walks and places to eat etc. We were able to relax in the garden behind the property. We did not use the sauna as the weather was warm. What a beautiful place to base yourself for some hikes into the mountains

Lovely, friendly hotel

A lovely stay in a friendly family run hotel. An authentic, recently renovated Slovenian vila in the beautiful village of Jezersko. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We were on a walking trip; the location was perfect and the owner, Alen, was always willing to offer helpful local advice.

Amazing people

The owner and his wife went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Not knowing the restaurant down the street kitchen was closed they drove me to the next town for pizza. The breakfast was very good and the rooms were large and comfortable.
