"Small but perfectly formed"

Nothing lasts forever, eh ? However, although the proprietors have packed it in with the ground-storey pizzeria -- a shame ; no equal to their pizzas that I know of any nearer than Budapest ! -- the bed-and-breakfast accommodations are still available on the first storey, and they are marvellous. Our bedroom / en-suite was capacious, well-equipped, and tastefully put together. The towels were large and fluffy, the hot-water supply in the shower generous. The cold breakfast buffet (coffee capsules / hot-water heater available) was not lavish, but it was certainly sufficient. The location in Ljubljana, outside the city centre but not far enough outside to mean a tediously long walk to shops, restaurants, and monuments, was right for us ; the city's on-street parking app was easily operated. And the cost ? Very manageable. * * * House Třta is a model establishment. I am convinced that prospective guests need look no further.

A lovely warm welcome

This was a really welcoming guesthouse. The flat we stayed in is above the family pizzeria. We were given a warm welcome by Ales and the rooms were spotless and warm. He offered a wealth of local information and we really d voted our stay. The room has a kettle and a small fridge, ideal for beer or wine or indeed milk!

Great place to stay in Ljubljana

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was excellent. It was modern and clean with all the amenities that you could want.
The host was great and very helpful.
The restaurant downstairs was a real bonus as the pizzas were great, they catered for my daughter who cannot eat gluten or dairy and the prices were very reasonable.
This is a great base for any visit to Ljubljana, the centre is only 10 mins walk away and the supermarket is just round the corner.
We would love to go to Ljubljana again and we would definitely stay here.

Quality Apartment with Excellent Service!

We spend eight nights here during Eurovolley2019, we were six persons so we had both rooms in our use.
From the very first minute, we felt warmly welcome in House Trta! Rooms were nice and clean, it was air conditioning available for hot days, it was good curtains in rooms to get them dark for a good sleep. Location was excellent, just short walk to old-town. Despite the central location, it was not noisy at all. Best pizza just downstairs (we ate quite a many of them!) and you can get them -10% discount for restaurant bill when living upstairs. Service was excellent, we got help for every question we had. Nothing to complain. Fully recommending this place to be also your choice when visitin Ljubljana!

Great place to stay when you’re visiting Slovenia

Nicely furnished apartment staying on top of family owned pizzeria. The two brothers that own the place was extremely helpful and have great tips as to where we should visit. Parking outside the place is affordable and the town center is less than a 10 minute walk away. Apartment overlooks the river which is great from late evening walks. The pizza served downstairs is also great! Really enjoyed the stay!
