Good beautifully situated campsite with plenty of opportunity for outdoor activity for the whole family.

By Slovenian standards a 4 star campsite. Lots of rugged nature all around. For children who can play themselves, it is a suitable family campsite. Friendly and helpful staff. Bodyrafting with Fabian is highly recommended and every day a swim (or 2, or 12) in the fresh river you should definitely do... bring water shoes and splash.
At the price but it's worth it...
The restaurant is simple but tasty, prepare to wait 45 minutes to an hour for your food when it is busy...

Overcrowded very expensive Festival campsite

Crowded campsite, you lie on top of each other, as if you were on a fedtival campsite (and we were still on the “quiet part” with our tent on a terrace. Scandalously expensive. There was almost nothing for the children: a volleyball court, a ping-pong table (balls and pallets you have to rent !!!) and a climbing wall that they are so proud of but “wasn’t open yet” (we were here in mid-July, high season !)
The activities they organize are almost twice as expensive than directly at the company. There are so many nicer campsites around!!

Great location, friendly staff, but...

As we were in transit, we decided to rent the “Bivak” out of practicality. Nice Cabin with small terrace and picnic furniture. Inside a bed (120cm wide) and a “couch” that can be used for two people to sleep if necessary. UNFORTUNATELY, there was no insect repellent for windows and doors. In the middle of the national park, where you have to open everything at night to sleep half-cool, this is a MUST! It was more than 30 degrees during the day.
The sanitary facilities did not excite me either and were also too little for the size of the place. Drains in sinks and showers blocked, so you could hardly clean yourself the already difficult to clean shower. Shower had to be switched back on every 30 seconds as it shuts itself off. Water either hot or freezing. Lights turned off after what felt like a minute in the shower/sink, so I basically showered in the dark.
Dishwasher also impractical, as the faucet had to be switched on constantly to get a half decent amount of water to rinse. Eco label or not....
Bins not available on the upper part of the square, except small ones in the toilets.
The playground for the children is great. The staff at the reception was very nice. Supermarket very mini and with very limited opening hours.
The location of the place is great, lots of trees and lots of shade (except at the bivak). Access to the river also possible, but not from the pitches.
