Hotel Plesnik, Logarska-Dolins, Slovenia. an outstanding experience !!

Hotel Plesnik in Logarska Dolina, Slovenia, is, in my book, a fantastic place. You can find such a quality Hotel with great scenery in an isolated area of Slovenia; it just blew me away. Ms. Kolar runs the show, and she and her Team do a terrific job. Upon my arrival, I received a warm WELCOME; the young man behind the desk assisted me with my bags and brought them to my room. The room is very modern and clean. - see my photos. The staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding; you could feel the love in how the food items were displayed. A great selection. Dinner was outstanding as well; I found it pricey, but it tasted good. From the dining room, you have an excellent view of a huge mountain range, which is on the same level. It still had snow, which made it even more attractive. I have only high praise for this operation, and I know you will have a great time too.

Outstanding experience!

A truly exceptional hotel where luxury feels effortless and genuinely personal. The staff are highly professional yet wonderfully warm and attentive. Special thanks to Primoš and his colleagues for making every meal a pleasure, and to Janis and the bar team for their fantastic hospitality. The spa is beautiful, the cuisine absolutely divine, and the breathtaking views alone are worth the journey. A rare combination of elegance, warmth and outstanding service. We’ve stayed here three times already – and every single stay has been fantastic!

excellent hotel and a few minor changes would make it great

Beautiful hotel in a Pristine valley overlooking gorgeous mountains. I met friends there and it was a magical stay. However, a couple of comments on our stay. The room had no AC and during our stay the temperature was hot. I would have opened the windows but there were too many bees around and a screen would be a great addition to windows. Our small window above our bed overlooking the waterfall had curtains but they did not filter the light too well. Small things that would have made our stay perfect. Food was very good and staff helpful. I would love to return to room 208 overlooking the mountains.

Great stay, views, and food. Just bring eye masks.

Lovely hotel in an amazing location. Lots of attention to detail in some areas, like the food, relaxation center and a barefoot mindfulness path, but then oversight on some basic needs in other areas. We stayed in the annex and there were no blackout curtains or shutters so the room was bright at 5:30am. There is no air conditioning or a fan in the room, which got hot in July. We couldnt open the windows at night because then the light came in even more. There was one tiny hook in the room to hang towels, robes, and swimsuits for 2 people. As a hotel trying to reduce waste and encourage re-using of towels, it would be a simple solution to add some hooks to allow us to hang and re-use the towels.
The food was fantastic, locally sourced and fresh. Breakfast had loads of options, and we had the dinner two nights which was delicious, and although pricey was worth the cost, especially with the light lunch the next day included. Ebikes were available onsite to rent, which we did and were well worth it.
If there had been blackout shades, and hooks it would be a 5 star review. We were surprised that they'd invest in so many amenities but overlook these basic and easy fixes.
Pros: Views, breakfast, lunch, dinner, relaxation center, pool, service, e-bikes, walkability to hikes
Cons: no blackout shades, not enough hooks, no AC, and annex feels like an afterthought with the entryway completely dark with old furniture shrouded in sheets

Simply Perfect

This hotel is simply perfect. The views are absolutely breathtaking and so beautiful that it feels like you are living in a dream. Every corner of the property offers a spectacular landscape, making the entire experience unforgettable.
The hotel itself is elegant, comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway.
A special mention goes to Mattej, one of the waiters, who is incredibly welcoming and a true professional. His friendly attitude, attention to detail, and outstanding service made our stay even more enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience with stunning views and exceptional hospitality. I would definitely love to come back.
