Excellent
We had a fantastic time staying at the haciendas IV. We stayed in the 2 bed bungalow with sea view. Now there are plenty of steps there so be prepared to get your steps in but we did not find this difficult. The main pool in the haciendas village complex was just lovely and where we spent most of our time, plenty of beds and we never struggled to get any in our 10 day stay. When people left the pool area they took there towels. The bungalow was a goid size a lovely big terrace two fine big bedrooms and a pull out couch. Plenty of towels given aswell so no need to bring any. Everything you need in a self catering big fridge and freezer a oven a washing machine. My only complaint is there isn't enough oven dishes and maybe a pizza tray would be good but these are small things as there is a lovely BBQ provided.
I will definitely be returning here it was ideal.

Be aware!
You need to know there are 2 complexes and the photos depict the amenities of main Haciendas complex. There is also Haciendas 4 which has dated pools in need of attention and no reception/cafe bar - you have a good walk to get to these! I have just arrived so will do a full review when my week is over but just to make anyone aware that if you are booking on photos the photos are not of Haciendas 4 which you could be accommodated in. Might not be important to everyone but is to us so want to share for people in similar situations. Booked on easyJet holidays.That said the main haciendas complex is lovely and is as advertised (which is why we booked) yes there are steps but no issue to us! Just sold something on pics of a totally different complex so take care as there are alternatives out there !

Very disappointing stay – terrace not as advertised and Multiple serious issues
Very disappointing – would not recommend
Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. Be very careful when booking the “Extra Large Terrace” option. We specifically booked and paid for a Deluxe 2 Bedroom Apartment with Extra Large Terrace, but the terrace we were given was considerably smaller and very different from the terrace shown in the Booking.com advertisement. We raised this with Reception during our stay, but the issue was not resolved. Make sure you carefully check exactly what terrace you are going to receive before booking, as you may not get what is shown in the photographs.
We also found mould in the bathroom and experienced a wastewater/sewage issue outside the apartment, which caused a very unpleasant smell. I have photographs and videos documenting these issues.
The location is also worth considering. The property is situated up a very steep hill, which we found particularly inconvenient with children, and it is quite far from many main areas and amenities.
I have been visiting Tenerife for over 10 years and have stayed in many different places, but this is by far the worst accommodation experience I have had in Tenerife.
Overall, the accommodation did not meet the standard we expected from the description and photographs when booking. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend thinking carefully before booking this property, particularly families with children or anyone specifically paying extra for the “Extra Large Terrace”.

However, we would like to clarify that the apartment provided to you corresponded at all times to the category that was booked and offered. The accommodation was not changed to a different or lower category, and the terrace formed part of the apartment assigned within that category.
We also take guest feedback regarding maintenance and cleanliness very seriously and regret that certain aspects of your stay caused dissatisfaction. Any issues reported during a stay are always investigated and addressed as far as possible.
We would also like to point out that we have our own photographs documenting the condition in which the apartment was left after your departure. These show, among other things, damage to the sofa as well as the apartment being left in a generally poor condition. Despite this, we chose not to make any additional charge for the damage or the extra work required.
We fully respect that every guest is entitled to share their personal opinion and experience. However, we believe it is important that the review also accurately reflects that the apartment provided corresponded to the accommodation category booked.

Friendly staff, good location. The apartment was well looked after and clean. There are many smallish swimming pools rather than one large one like some places which was actually nicer as they were more local you the appartment and less people.
The only issue I would say is that if you have accessibility needs there are a lot of steps. Otherwise very happy with the apartment and service.

Hacienda village apartment holiday
The location wasn't the best it was only after I had booked that it had said if a person struggles with mobility which i do having spinal stenosis and alot of steps.
And also very hilly.
The apartment itself was beautiful and no complaints about that apart from the extremely noisy people who were staying in the apartment above me.
The pool in the apartments on our level and so it was very small if you didnt get up early enough to put towels on the sun loungers you didnt get a spot.
The reception area wasn't manned at night and the out of hours number which was given wasn't the best neither was the map stating where the apartment was the number signs were not clear enough we was walking around up and mainly in the dark.
Lot of other people smoking cannabis not what you want your kids to be around.
The reception staff in the reception area were helpful and gave enough info and let us stay in the room longer by paying 70 euros for the extension having to get changed around the pool area when having to vacate the apartment by 10am wasn't what we wanted because the flight wasn't until the night so we thought that the price was fair but it had to be cash. I think it would of been better if we had frequent towels changed and the removal of rubbish also when being self catering.
The room didnt have air conditioning but there was a place were you could rent them from, but there was fans in the apartments. I personally didnt need AC I managed without it
