Highly recommended hotel!

I stayed at Blu Hotel in Almansa for 8 nights in october 2025, and I loved it! Big rooms, modern style, really comfortable beds, good wi-fi, nice and secure car-park and very easy access from the highway. I stayed in two different rooms and they both had high standard. The only thing I could have asked for would be bit more to choose from at the breakfast buffet. I hope to come back many times, and I highly recommend this hotel!

Too bad a hotel is so derelict and you are charged €120 for a room that is dusty and dirty

Four star hotel, dirty, spoiled, the air conditioning does not work, the Store stuck zealously to the wall, chipped, the wooden floor with screws, the dryer loose chipped the wall.......

An experience never lived before

A terrible experience. It is totally misleading advertising. They sell themselves as a 4-star hotel with a spa. Well, they do not have a spa. The facilities are in lamentable condition. I do not know who grants the stars, but I am going to inform the tourism board of Castilla-La Mancha. At most, they deserve 2 stars. This is true... the staff is very friendly.

GOOD HOTEL AND RIDICULOUS BUFFET

Very modern, clean and comfortable room. The ridiculous buffet with little variety in both dinner and food, we were in October a group of imserso that we paid as a high season??? the buffet restaurant 2 stars. Nothing to do with the dishes they put in the photos of the hotel of penosa and little food had us separated from the other guests people who ate in the restaurant next to the cafeteria who gave them other dishes.
The last to arrive little variety and above all there was nowhere to choose, the food was missing the same as in desserts.

Very good.

Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 9:00. The cafeteria opens at 12:00. If you don't get up early, you have to go to breakfast outside the hotel. The hotel has been designed to look very modern, but that is done at the expense of comfort. Let's leave aside the prison aspect of the corridors and doors of the rooms. The shower has a slippery dish, and cannot be closed with curtain or screen, so that water floods the floor of the adjacent area with each shower. In front of the sink is a glass that according to the prevailing light can serve as a mirror or window through which you can see what is behind. Closet doors don't look like closet doors, they're a camouflage exercise. I discovered one of them when I was leaving, behind was the fridge and the safe. In the bathroom there is a landline (?) installed on the wall at elbow level, which is impossible not to shoot down with each use of the toilet.
