very cosy
we had the small little suite with terrace at the ground floor which was very cosy and quiet - nice service and a good bed , with nice amenities for the bathroom - great for a short stay and very central

Expensive for what it offers and strange noises
The hotel has "charm", the decor very careful and the situation is brutal, but it is true that the room is small and the spa operates at 70%. From our point of view, it's not up to what you pay. I can't find 5* anywhere I look.
In booking indicate there is free parking and actually mean that you can find it on the street if you search and it is no longer time to pay blue zone... :D ... When indicating this point we were told that it would be a booking thing (although it is true that on its website it does NOT say anything about it, but in my view it is your responsibility to ensure that such a platform does not lie to your customers)
The service was more than correct at almost all times but when we asked places to eat at 16:00 we were told that everything closed and advised "the bar next door". Within minutes we find without problem 3 quality restaurants that do not close kitchen (two of them very famous). We didn’t feel particularly welcome after that (but it’s fair to say they were very correct overall).
On the other hand, and this is why we're not coming back, we came out a little shotgunned because we heard noises coming from the upstairs at about 6:00 am. (Several heavy blows and dragging furniture). We thought they would be "annoying" tenants but upon leaving the room we were told there was no one else in the hotel during that night....

TO FLEE
We had booked 3 nights in this establishment: horrible experience. Room dirty, dark smelling musty, extremely damp and small. The bathroom was not better, defective shower hose. The patio onto which the room opened was sinister, with bird gouanos. There was construction going on in the building next door and the room was very noisy. No breakfast, we had to manage to find a cafe. No staff on site, a person who asks you exactly what time you arrive to give you the keys. And the swimming pool described on the site is in fact a small foot bath in the basement, sinister. This does not correspond to a 5 star or a 4 star. After the first night we left, we asked for compensation (the 3 nights were paid in advance), the manager by telephone did not want to know anything. The only positive point: the location close to the historic center. To avoid absolutely

Misrepresentations galore
I booked this hotel for a family holiday based on reviews I had read on the internet. The sites promised all the services one expects from a luxury"hotel" and "spa"... Unfortunately the accommodation hardly resembled the description provided by either its website or travel review sites (including Tripadvisor).
This is a lovely little house set in a quite street. The room maid and "manager" (in quotation marks because her role was pretty much limited to handing over and retrieving the room keys) were both very sweet. BUT:
The site states that there is a 24 hour front desk - there is none - you see no one.
The site states there is a full-service concierge desk -Instead there is an IPad in the room.
The site states that there is a full service spa with treatments: there is only a "jacuzzi" in the basement but the water is cold, (and didn't work 2 out of the 5 days we were there).
The site says there is a pool - there is none.
It is unfortunate that one is so horribly misled by the misrepresentations on the property's website because expectations are raised. This is not a luxury hotel and there is no spa.It is a very pretty AirBnB and nothing more.
On our second day I wrote as such to the individual who confirmed my reservation with additional promises of all kinds of apparently on-site services and expressed my dismay at the many untruths but didn't receive any sort of response.
Please ask questions before you book a room - and don't be fooled into paying the exorbitant rates I paid because I was under the false impression that we were going to be pampered - So disappointing!

Brilliant hotel
The room was very spacious and had a nice seating area both inside and out which is also private. I was surprised when we checked in and I was told there is a iPad in your room for you to use! Also in the room was a large Samsung TV and Bose sound dock, I felt really spoilt! Fresh fruit, tea and coffee and sweets in the room.... well I was tempted just to stay in the room and not venture out! Also within the hotel is a jacuzzi style pool which I tried out. Although I am not a fan of jacuzzis it was nice and cool water which is what was required on a very hot day. Anyway outside the hotel is very central and 2 mins walk to the marina and bars. Great location and very relaxing
