Quaint Boutique Hotel
Small but comfortable room for a good night's sleep after a long flight. Excellent location in the Gothic District, walk to restaurants, shops and parks.
Rooftop bar very nice with a view of the city. Lounge chairs for relaxing. Small pool but not heated.

A lovely hotel
A lovely hotel in a really great location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good too. The hotel has a small swimming pool and rooftop terrace area. The room was a really decent size and they were spotlessly clean.

adequate hotel in a wonderful location
Stayed here for two nights after a cruise. Picked this hotel because we wanted to be in the gothic district near the Picasso museum. Location was absolutely great for us. This is a modest hotel, with minimalist decor and amenities. No assistance with luggage etc. Included breakfast was adequate. Room was small and the air conditioning did not work the second night. The desk clerk initially thought we just didn't understand its operation, but offered another room when she determined it definitely was not working. The a/c did not work in that room either so we just spent a quite warm second night. The rooftop bar did serve some good food, and had a small pool. Staff was courteous. Overall a clean and OK hotel in a wonderful location.

A great budget friendly hotel in a perfect location.
We stayed here for 4 nights in August and we were more than impressed. The walk up to the hotel is dreamy. Rustic streets, with bakeries, tapas bars and little shops. Lovely atmosphere and great location. Not too busy in the evening either, but busy enough for you to have lots of choice. The Hotel was clean & we had everything we needed. We got a great deal for this hotel, so we knew what to expect but we were still pleasantly surprised. Big room, Comfy beds, air con, daily turn down service, big bathroom and great location. Reception staff were really friendly. If you want to stay in Barcelona but prefer the "Old Town" side rather than the ramblas - this is a perfect, budget friendly choice. The rooftop bar was lovely, small pool and great vibe. Bar staff were friendly & the food looked tasty. I'd definitely come here again.

Felt more like a hostel than a hotel
This hotel was not what we expecting at all (and not in a good way), which is why we found ourselves checking out after one night.
Upon first inspection, the room appeared clean and tidy. However, that’s where the good ends.
Beds were like cardboard which move around on wheels, so anytime you turned, you could definitely feel the bed moving with you.
One of the earliest problems we encountered in the room was the smell. The bathroom had a constant smell of marijuana, due to the fact that the bathroom window was stuck open and impossible for us to shut. We notified the front desk of the problem, with their resolution being to have a worker shut himself in the bathroom and spray air freshener around the room for a few minutes.
Our biggest concern with the hotel was the light that appeared outside every hotel room door on our floor. This light would essentially allow anyone to know if you were in your room or not (as the red light would be on if you were in the room, or off if no one was in there). As 2 young female travellers, we found this extremely distressing, and essentially decided after this discovery that we would be checking out early (especially after reading others reviews saying they had been robbed).
For how expensive this place is, it is not worth it. Spend what you would’ve on this place on a better, more secure hotel.
