nice hotel
First time to Barcelona in Spain. Hotels in this city are more expensive than in many European countries. Book this hotel because it's affordable and close to meeting venues and Metro. After check-in, we noticed that the hotel was well served, the staff was helpful and the rooms were clean.

The breakfast saves this from a 1 star review. There were stains on the comforter and the blanket seemed like it was unwashed. The staff was not very attentive. In one bizarre incident, we left our bags after checkout. Their bag tag melted into my girlfriends bag and made the handle inoperable because glue got in the handle. The staff did not attempt to help fix the situation at all. We were standing in the lobby trying to clean up the mess for almost 30 minutes so we could get the handle working. Even though there were no other hotel guests, the staff stayed at the bar drinking beverages watching us instead of offering to help clean up. This was the worst instance, but overall the staff was very disengaged and unhelpful.

毫无安全和服务
It was absolutely outrageous! At 8:50 in the morning, the door of our room was suddenly opened. We were still sleeping. This was truly terrifying. It seemed to be a routine cleaning by the hotel, but I had no idea why it was done so early. We could hear the cleaning sounds from other rooms, which were very noisy and prevented us from being able to sleep any further.
Furthermore, we arrived at the hotel at 12 noon and wanted to check in. However, the hotel informed us that we couldn't proceed with the check-in as the time wasn't yet up. We thought the rooms hadn't been prepared yet, so we stored our luggage. At 1:30 pm, we returned and were still not allowed to check in. We had to wait until 2 pm. Even at 1:55 pm, they still wouldn't allow us to check in. If they had finished cleaning the rooms so early, there should have been available rooms by then. Why didn't they give us the advance notice?
一大早被非法闯入，被其他房间收拾声音吵的不能休息，有房间不给提前办理入住！

Dear guest,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. As the Quality Manager, I have reviewed the points mentioned in your review to clarify our procedures:
Privacy and Housekeeping: Our housekeeping team begins their shift at 8:00 AM to ensure the hotel's maintenance and preparation. We regret that the noise disturbed you; however, we remind our guests that using the "Do Not Disturb" sign is the standard procedure to prevent staff access and guarantee silence in the room throughout the morning.
Check-in Protocol: Our official check-in time is 2:00 PM. Although cleaning may be completed earlier, rooms must undergo a technical supervision process before they are released. To guarantee access prior to the established time, we offer an Early Check-in service, which is subject to availability and an additional fee. Without this service, room keys are provided punctually at 2:00 PM, as was the case during your visit.
We appreciate your observations, as they help us continue to refine our daily operations.
Sincerely,
Jordi Pascual

Careful and pleasant
The hotel beware. Small and between homes, but quiet. Don't expect sights, I didn't like that, I didn't expect it.
Friendly staff and well maintained facilities.
Clean and with a good, rich and careful breakfast
It is a small hotel close to the congress palace and the diagonal shopping center of the sea, with many neighborhood restaurants nearby.
