Unclean - Expensive - Zero customer care

The state of the apartment and, more particularly, the disgusting state of the bed. The following pictures show the mattress cover, which was covered in hair and other detritus.
I do not think that for the price they are charging (or any price), you would expect to be sleeping on other people's bodily debris in the bedroom, have the paint peeling off the ceiling, or a poorly cleaned shower.
I wrote a review on booking.com, and they responded with a load of lies.
They said:
Dear Jonathan, We are truly sorry to read your review and would like to clarify a few points. During your one-night stay at our property, we did not receive any communication from you, either before, during, or after your arrival. Our team made several attempts to contact you prior to your check-in to facilitate your arrival, but unfortunately, we did not receive any response. We take great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service, as reflected in the experiences of our other guests. If there were any issues during your stay that were not communicated to us, we regret not having the opportunity to address them. We remain committed to providing the best possible experience to all our guests. Sincerely, Front office management - Decô Apartments Barcelona
I have copies of several communications with them both before and after my stay, including several following up on my complaint to which I have had no response - which can only be regarded as appalling customer care. Also, there was no one on-site during my stay.
I live in the hope that one day, they will be bothered to respond - if not, I will keep posting reviews.

Bad service

I made a 2 night biking in this hotel and before my travel to Barcelona I got a email the booking is cancelled. I been traveling for the past 20 years for business and never experienced such thing. While at the airport in Dubai transit made another booking and sent a email to the hotel plz don't cancel my biking I am reaching tomorrow evening. Upon my arrival the hotel receptionist refused to give me the room and literally caused me out requested at least keep my luggage until I find a hotel straight on my farce she said no we can't help you. Extremely unprofessional dealing with the guests with no feelings

Barcelona birthday trip

Fantastic apartment. Close to everything. Clean and well looked after. Had all facilties that you need. Lovely cafes and restaurants in walking distance and close to metro lines. Great communication from the company and very helpful with recommendations. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again

Scam

This is scam: I made a reservation through Booking. After 2 days (during the weekend) they cancel the reservation w/o previously checking with me (even if I had already inserted all the data they required for check-in) and asked me for an increased price in case I wanted to restore my reservation. Real scam.
