Great hotel

This hotel in Barcelona is a great choice with a prime location. The service is generally good, though it can be slow during peak times due to the hotel’s popularity. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The breakfast is amazing, and all the restaurants in the hotel are great! The facilities are also very nice and well-maintained.

PURE PERFECTION !!!!!

Our experience at the Grand was nothing short of perfection. From the minute we checked in all our needs were met. We have traveled the world extensively and stayed at some of the world famous hotels, and the Grand Hyatt is now one of our favourites. All of the staff were absolutely amazing, every single one of them were engaging and extremely helpful, polite and more importantly, you could feel they had an enormous sense of pride in delivering the best service. I can’t mention everyone by name but a few standouts were, upon arrival, Adrian. Very professional but made us laugh too and told us a lots about how to maximise our stay. Paula, served us the most exquisite wines whilst we waited for our restaurant table, she kept us informed about wine pairings and which wines to look out for once she understood our personal preferences, we bought 4 bottles of one of the wines she recommended to take home with us as gifts. Last but not least Julie in the beautiful Peruvian restaurant on the 19th floor, she was the most welcoming hostess whom again was all of the above and more she made this beautiful rooftop restaurant feel like we were visiting her home. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our congratulations go to the management team for making it all look effortless. We definitely will return.

Not quite "Grand" Hyatt

Crowded lobby. Long queue for check-in. Don't be fooled by the word "premium" room, it is not premium. Inattentive staff.
Only thing I like is the breakfast, staff are vey nice and choice of food is great for continental breakfast.

Overall, very good stay.

While away from city centre and main attraction, it was fairly easy to commute to. Located next to Barcelona stadium and is in middle of business hub. Staff at hotel were very helpful and welcoming. Really top notch. Got a room upgrade but had to pay a fair small fee and I would say it was worth it. Lots of amenities. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use spa facilities it opened quite late. Rooftop bar looked cozy, outside pool area was lovely, hotel reception was beautifully laid out. Downsides were that breakfast wasn’t as good as I thought. It was quite limited given the size of the hotel. Also the lifts take quite a long time to come during the day, so be prepared to wait a while for them to come. Air conditioning stopped working during our stay. Overall it was a very nice experience and would visit again for sure if I visit Barcelona again.

Great stay

The Grand Hyatt Barcelona was conveniently located; onsite food options were fantastic. Our room was very clean and had a great view of the city. We had club lounge access and were pleased with the variety offered. Staff were friendly.
