Absolutely delighted with this hotel

We stayed at this hotel prior to going on a cruise departing from Barcelona. As it was only an overnight stop arranged by the travel company we had assumed it would be ok but were delighted with it. What a beautiful hotel! The reception area is very impressive, the staff are efficient and the room was gorgeous. Very spacious, including a shower with separate toilet, a kettle (unknown in Barcelona hotels!), a fridge , an enormous comfy bed and a couch. It was very modern and sparking clean.
What a treat to return to after a long journey and a very long walk round the city. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel should not be classified as a 4 star hotel. It is fairly run down and pretty basic. We stayed in a junior suite. Wallpaper was bubbling on the wall, areas not cleaned well, more of a budget hotel. The bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable. The windows in our “suite” were wide but up at the ceiling (more like transom windows) and we couldn’t even see outside. Every time we were in the lobby, a different guest was complaining at the desk about something. We didn’t eat at the lounge but that is one very nice feature. The location is close to restaurants and some shopping. Overall, would not recommend.

This is the second time we stayed there. Love the staff. It is nice that the front desk staff and restaurant staff remembered us. A lot of restaurants, stores, pharmacy, etc around. We will be going again and stay there again.

Breakfast is the best!

Good central location. Very nice and helpful staff. Rooms were large and clean. 3 to a room was comfortable. 1 king and 1 sofa bed. Housekeeper was excellent. Breakfast buffet was the BEST!!
