A very nice hotel. Comfortable and clean.
We were able to check in early (they did charge us a fee for that, however), but it fit our timeline of what we were trying to do that afternoon with sightseeing. We took showers to wash off the 24 hours of traveling and left the hotel. When we returned, the water to our room wasn't working for some reason. I called down to reception and they immediately sent someone up, who fidgeted with a couple of faucet handles above the shower and then stated it was fixed. My wife then went to take another shower and only the hot water was working. So I called down again to reception and the very nice young gentleman who we had been dealing with all day came to the room to try to fix it, but was unsuccessful. So he moved us into another room, next to our first one. We moved our stuff and settled in. We slept well and went down for breakfast. The young gentleman called us a taxi to take us to the cruise port and we left the hotel.
This employee was outstanding and an asset to the business. I wish I would have remembered his name!

We stayed three nights. Did not have the breakfast. They cleaned the room daily, but did not replenish the coffee/tea selections. When I had an urgent need for eye care the front desk was able to direct me to an emergency eye clinic that gave professional care.

Maybe I just didn’t get a great room - but it didn’t feel that clean, and very tired furnishings. I had a decent night sleep, so that was something, but I expected a lot more from the reviews and the price that I paid. It was quite a distance from everywhere where I wanted to go, and while in walking distance, I had thought I was a little closer to areas than I actually was. Not awful, but not great either… just okay.

Friendly, welcoming and a good base.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially when we arrived at 2am due to a flight delay.
The rooms were clean and came with a fridge/kettle/suitable toiletries in the bathroom which were all nice touches.
The beds were comfortable and it provided a good base for us over our 6 day trip. Whilst we didn’t have the breakfast, it always looked good.
There was free wifi provided which was quick and only had to be rejoined once a day (this is good for a hotel). There is a small pool on the roof of the hotel which was lovely to dip into during midday sun.

We enjoyed the pool for cooling down and hanging out on the lounge chairs later in the day. It is within walking distance of many things to see and do.
The breakfast was replenished readily and enjoyable.
