Avoid Ona Las Lomas Village at All Costs – Dirty, Run-Down and Terrible Service

From our stay in May 2026
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER book a stay in this area. The first room we were given was full of mold, and everything is generally in extremely poor condition and very dirty, with other people’s hair and trash everywhere.
Both restaurants were closed during peak season, as well as one of the pools. Then the other pool broke down during our stay, leaving us with nowhere to spend our time.
We took a mattress from the bed and laid it out in the sun, but were told we would be thrown out if we did not take it back inside. I politely asked if we could get a sunbed down to the apartment, but apparently that was not possible either, because they are not allowed to be moved out of the pool area and returned afterwards.
In general, the staff are incredibly rude and not very accommodating, and you are basically left to deal with everything yourself.
On top of that, our refrigerator did not work and we had no hot water — we had to solve those issues ourselves.
Do yourselves a favor and never spend your money on a stay at Ona Las Lomas Village!!!!!

What a disappointment

What a huge disappointment! It looks nothing like the pictures on the website. That it's all old I can still see through that but it was incredibly dirty and things were broken. Nor were they made or replaced. Of course this indicated at reception but the lovely lady who stands there hears you but can not do anything with it. I think she's had to deal with so many complaints. Staff at breakfast and at bar pool was top! Also occasionally fun entertainment on the square. On our last day there were all these little animals in the pool. In short, do not book!

Towels and room cleaning only once a week!

I had advised the hotel that I would arrive at 8.30 pm and found the reception closed. Many difficulties knowing where my room was.

Peace and quiet

We've been a week and really good. An apartment with 3 spacious rooms, all with separate bathroom, 2 terraces, very spacious living room, a toilet and fully equipped kitchen. The location is good as it is close to the highway to move around the area, Cabo de Palos, La Manga, Calblanque Nature Park, Cartagena, etc. Supermarket and gas station 5 min. by car.
Very correct cleaning with change of sheets and towels once a week. In addition, security service / external surveillance 24 h.
The facilities are not very modern, but everything works perfectly and if there is something that is not perfect there is nothing more to say at reception. In our case they changed a broken tap on the same day and it was a Sunday. Special mention to Martin at reception, who has provided us with all the help and information we have needed.
The only “buts”, the reception has limited hours from 9 to 17h. Our apartment had three floors and were connected by a narrow spiral staircase, which can be a problem for people with poor mobility.
