Entertainment crew are OUTSTANDING
We would like to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to the two incredible entertainment staff at Flamingo Hotel, Sylvia and Dianne. ❤️
Sylvia was absolutely wonderful. We honestly don’t know how she did it! She organised the talent show and created such a fantastic, memorable evening with the children after only **two hours of practice**. Her organisation, patience, kindness and incredible energy were so impressive. From morning activities right through to the evening events she hosted, Sylvia was always involved, always smiling and always giving 100%. She really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was included and having fun.
And then there was Dianne, who completely stole my daughter Billies heart. ❤️ My daughter can be quite shy, but Dianne made her feel so included, comfortable and special. She took such a lovely shine to her, and it was beautiful to see her confidence grow because of the kindness and attention Dianne gave her. She also gifted my daughter a beautiful bracelet to match her anklet. Billie treasures it x
We truly hope Dianne knows just how important she is and what a difference she makes to children. Those little moments of kindness can mean so much, and I know my daughter will remember her for a long time.
Both Sylvia and Dianne are a real credit to Flamingo Hotel. They brought so much fun, warmth, energy and kindness to our holiday, and we are incredibly grateful for all the memories they helped create.
Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts. You are both truly special, and we hope you know just how appreciated you are. ❤️ xx

Good location, but major problems ruined the stay
Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis is in a good location,with Lidl just 2 minutes away, the beach around a 15-minute walk, and lots of restaurants and bars nearby,The food had plenty of choice, especially breakfast with British and continental options, although fish choices were limited at lunch and dinner and the food presentation could have been much better. One man at reception with a beard and mark on his chin was extremely polite. The cleaner on the 19th floor was lovely and very helpful.
Unfortunately, there were too many negatives for us to return. The lifts were a nightmare with very long waiting times, the pool closed too early at 5pm♀️there was no entertainment around the pool, and the indoor pool was closed even though we visited in May. The air conditioning did not work, only the fan, and staff said it was “not the season” for air con. Most bar staff and some reception staff were miserable and unwelcoming. Paying £3.50 daily for the safe and £2.50 from the machine for a small bottled water at an all-inclusive hotel felt ridiculous, housekeeping standards could be better as dust was noticeable and cups were not changed for 3 days.
To make things worse, I got food poisoning on my last evening Sadly, because of this experience, I would not return, although I absolutely loved Benidorm itself.

Disappointed
We enjoyed our stay but unfortunately we wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel is more of a 3 star than a 4.
The room - 10th floor
Spacious and nice view of the pool, other than that it’s quite run down and not very clean. I’d suggest bringing an extension cable with you as there’s only one plug socket beside the beds.
The beds were very uncomfortable and hard, one mattress was uneven which made you feel like you were falling off the edge. Every morning we woke up feeling like we had been hit by a truck.
The WiFi was also horrendous in our room, we ended up just using our data the whole time.
The sliding door to the balcony was very stiff and difficult to open which was a good thing for us as it meant our son couldn’t open it by himself as the door lock didn’t actually work. There is also a considerably sized gap underneath the glass panel/railings which is also a bit hazardous as our son’s toys almost rolled underneath and would have fallen on people sunbathing by the pool.
The floorboards kept moving, the door threshold kept lifting and there were stains on the sofa.
The walls are also quite thin, you can hear people talking, showering, using the hairdryer etc
Bathroom - very spacious, however the bath plug didn’t do it’s job properly as the water kept draining every time. There was also a small hole in the bathtub beside the overflow. When drying the floor with a towel you could see how dirty the floor was and one of the sinks took ages to drain. There was water marks/grime left on the mirror for days and the whole room never smelt like it had been cleaned properly.
The lifts were horrendous during peak times. You will end up waiting 20-30 minutes.
The food was ok, pretty standard but enough options to please all.
The entertainment was… ok.
There was lots of arcade games but half of them didn’t work and weren’t sign posted, luckily the reception reimbursed us for a couple of the machines but not all.
The outdoor pools were unbearably freezing cold. Our son braved the kids pool for 10/15 mins before he was shivering. The kids pool appeared dirty, leaves floating and just visible dirt/grime in all the nooks and crannies. Same for the indoor pool, it felt unclean and dated but the water was a nice temperature, could’ve been a bit warmer in my opinion.
The last sour cherry on top was that we accidentally left our son’s personalised blanket in our room after we checked out. We realised on the way to the airport and emailed the hotel straight away. They replied stating they have found it. We asked them to keep it safe for my sister to collect in a couple of weeks, however when she arrived, the hotel said they couldn’t find it. We’re extremely saddened and disappointed by this as that blanket held a lot of sentimental value and we didn’t even get a email from the hotel apologising or anything.

Great time Diffently be going back
Another great time staff lovely receptionist polite .Room was always cleaned .entertainment average .Stayed in Club Room Food plentiful hot ,always something there even for the picky eaters Small problem but had it sorted. Can't wait to go back next year

Not a 4*
Some rude members of staff let this hotel down. The pool bar staff had a arrogant attitudes. Anyone would think they paid for the food and drinks! The staff need to remember that us guests have already paid for food and drink.
Room was dated, wasn't the cleanest.
Bathroom stunk of sewage so as soon as we entered the room the smell hit us.
On a positive note..food was ok could always get a sun bed and lifts were not a problem.
