Stunning boutique hotel with relaxing feel
We stayed at Caballito De Mar as a couple for 6 nights in August and absolutely loved our stay.
The hotel is charming, boho-chic and has such a lovely relaxation and wellness feel. The decor is beautiful and clearly very well thought out, giving the whole place a boutique, luxurious feel without feeling pretentious. Our room was a great size, and the rooms all have their own individual styles.
The little touches were fantastic too. High-quality toiletries are provided, including soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, as well as a hairdryer. There isn’t a fridge in the rooms, but there is a communal fridge where you can store your own items, with stickers provided so you can label them. There is also an honesty box with drinks, crisps and snacks, which we thought was such a great idea and really convenient.
The views are absolutely beautiful, and we thought the location was perfect. You would ideally need a car, but personally we much preferred being slightly outside the centre of Moraira. It felt peaceful and relaxing while still being close enough to everything.
Breakfast was another highlight. It’s included in the stay and is so much more than a standard continental breakfast. There’s a great menu to choose from, with delicious options that were beautifully presented. Everything tasted fantastic, and it was clear that fresh, quality products were being used.
John and Anna were wonderful hosts, as were all of the other staff. Everyone was so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. They were also brilliant with local recommendations, which really helped us make the most of our time in the area.
While in Moraira, we ate at The Olive Tree, La Cabana, Soho and Samar, and would highly recommend all four. The food was beautiful and they all had great atmospheres.
Overall, we had such a lovely 6-night stay and would absolutely recommend Caballito De Mar to anyone looking for somewhere peaceful, stylish and a little bit special. We’d definitely stay again!

Moraira vacation
Everything spectacular since we arrived, we were served by Cohen, charming, very kind, very helpful, the room beautiful, huge, the bathroom spectacular, everything very clean, the cleaning lady, charming, the facilities unbeatable, an exquisite decor, the pools beautiful, the views impressive, total relaxation, the breakfast very good, everything, John the owner charming, very kind, Ana also charming, Enrika also very kind and charming, we will return, for sure. It was a great success to find this wonderful place; I should also highlight that it was our anniversary and they had the courtesy to leave us a bottle of cava, a greeting card, and some sweets in the room.

My stay at Cabalitto del Mar was truly fantastic. This boutique hotel offers the perfect mix of charm, luxury and personal service, with a beautiful view over the mountains and partly the sea. It is the ideal place to escape the crowds and completely unwind.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendly and professional owner of the hotel, Anna & John really do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a warm and atmospheric interior, paying attention to every detail. The bed was comfortable, and the room itself offered a haven of peace with large windows.
The facilities are top notch – the hotel has two lovely swimming pools, one of which is heated. The "HONESTY" bar is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail you can make yourself or a nice other drink, which you can then drink by the beautiful pools or seating areas dotted around the hotel. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with local produce and fresh juices, which was the perfect start to the day.
What really sets this hotel apart is its personal approach. Anna and John know your name and will do anything to make your stay special, from recommending local activities to arranging reservations at great restaurants nearby.
If you are looking for a boutique hotel with an intimate, luxurious atmosphere, Cabalitto del Mar is definitely worth a visit. We can't wait to get back!

Relaxing and tranquil well worth a visit
Fab place, hosts were delightful, delicious breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Great team overall hope to go back again soon. Lovely location the near main town and beach, lots of places locally to eat and plenty of places to visit by car. This is a really nice part of the Spanish coast worth a visit.

Small oasis
A wonderful place to arrive and be home. Dear hosts John and Anna. An excellent breakfast freshly prepared, nothing out of the box. Well-kept complex with 2 pools, sufficient sun loungers, 2 community rooms including bar where you can help yourself on a trust basis, write down u at the end pay. I hate to leave and would love to come back.
