Perfect Base & Peaceful Escape

We very much enjoyed our stay at this longstanding independent hotel which was our base for three days in and around the amazing village of Cadaques. Our "sea view" family suite had a large patio with a beautiful view of Cadaques and its bay (not the Mediterranean itself). Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, apart from an air conditioning problem the first night.
One major highlight was the hotel's rear courtyard, a beautiful oasis with a large swimming pool, plenty of lounge chairs and tables (at least for relatively light late May business), and a poolside bar service. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful rest and relaxation the courtyard/pool provided.
An extensive, delicious breakfast was included and served in a nice dining room overlooking the bay. Service and support were impressive, both preceding our arrival (a car service was scheduled to take us over the border to France for the next leg of our journey) and during our time at the property.
The hotel's location is central and perfect for exploring Cadaques and nearby sights, though a shuttle service would be nice given the steep climb to & from Port Lligat to visit Dali's home museum (and other nearby destinations).
While nightly rates were relatively high, we were very happy with our experience and the value overall and hope to return.

Very good address.

Superb hotel. Spacious room, very nice decor, balcony with a view of Cadaqués.
Perfect bedding. Room and bathroom are clean. Air conditioning.
Unusual and original, you enter through the bathroom, which is superb.
A very warm welcome, plus, in French
The breakfast is very good, served as a buffet with fresh orange juice!
The hotel is well located. A bit set back from the center, 5-6 minutes on foot, and very quiet.
There is parking, but be careful, it is small. I recommend reserving a spot as it is not very large!
If you are looking for a quality hotel, do not hesitate.

No need for a car here. Very good breakfast. Our room was small but well arranged. It was called an inside room which just meant no view to the sea but it had a very nice balcony overlooking garden area and nice rural view.

A little gem by the sea

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic because it only offers advantages. First of all, the location, ideal to discover the village. The welcome is very friendly, all the staff speaks French. They have their own garage for a very low price, which is very appreciable. Then the rooms are very cute and comfortable, well decorated with a beautiful bathroom (shower + bathtub). The corner is very quiet and the bedding excellent. We even had a beautiful balcony with sunbathing and views of the sea and the village of Cadaquès. Finally, breakfast is an excellent buffet with fresh pressed orange juice, fruit, pastries, Iberian products (hams, cheeses, tortillas). A bar is accessible in the evening. We had a great time there.
