Elisabeth was a great host! gave us some good tips on places to visit. The place is remote and very peaceful. It would be good to have your own car or Elisabeth provides a shuttle service which is cheaper than a taxi.

Well, what can I say? We certainly did not expect to arrive at El Ranxo and be SO blown away by the place. Not only in a beautiful location, but the property itself was idyllic! Our room for two adults and three kids absolutely perfect. The dining area and cooking facilities top notch. Breakfast wonderful. Then the swimming pool, tennis court, kids ride on toys. And the lovely warm welcome we received on arrival. I really couldn’t be more positive about this place.
We were on our way back from a road trip from Wales to the south of Spain, and we were quite sad to be traveling home, thinking that we’d already had all of the good times and highlights of the trip, but El Ranxo proved us wrong. We were just disappointed we only had one night!
If you want to stay near Barcelona/Girona, stay here!! You won’t regret it.
And, Girona…WOW, what a place.
Thank you Elisabeth, we really hope to visit you again♥️

The rooms were very hot when we arrived and although 2 fans were provides it was very hot and at night

enjoy yourself to the fullest at El Ranxo

Where do I start...it was just great! The room was spacious and comfortably furnished and equipped with every luxury.
The beds were of good quality and had a mosquito net.
The bathroom was spacious and fully equipped.
The shared kitchen with associated, very cozy breakfast and living room, was equipped with everything one needed.
The location is in the countryside where you can optimally enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. It is wonderful to use the pool in the morning before breakfast, in the afternoon upon your return or if you spend the whole day at El Ranxo.
Liesbeth and Kees are the perfect host and hostess, they not only give you a nice holiday feeling but also create a family atmosphere... everyone feels at home here.
The sweet dog Ozzie keeps watch and sets a good example during the day on how best to behave in warm weather....stay calm and enjoy the peace.
