Not quite what we expected
Booked 2 superior rooms, one for me & my husband and one for our daughters but we were put in different buildings as far from each other as possible! How ridiculous! Apparently no rooms available to move us closer together. When one person pays for 2 rooms & everyone has the same surname it makes sense they are holidaying together.
Our daughter’s room had water leaking through their ceiling one evening and we had 2 power cuts in our room on two separate occasions. We were only there 6 days.
We booked bed & breakfast; breakfast was in another building to either of our rooms and 4 flights of stairs for us. It was in a basement without a view. Food was limited but fine, nothing remarkable. The juice was undrinkable.
We were given a card each to exchange for pool towels on arrival, but if you wanted a fresh one, you had to pay an extra euro each time, this has never happened in any other hotel i’ve stayed at.
Room cleaning was hit and miss, they made the bed every day but they didn’t clean the bins every day and they didn’t change the towels every day. I’ve never experienced this in another hotel.
Staff were friendly.
We didn’t use our exclusive access to the rooftop pool as this pool was tiny.
We preferred the second largest pool, where they played nice music and there was a calm atmosphere and easy to pop down to the bigger pool area for lunch.
We didn’t use the spa.
The evening entertainment was pleasant.
The location is up a little hill but very close to everything.
We had one beach day, €45 for 2 parasols and 4 sunbeds! That’s the most we’ve paid anywhere and yet the beach was not as nice as some we’ve visited before and the sea didn’t smell very nice. I love to snorkel and didn’t feel I wanted to put my face in.
We had a nice meal out every night and lots of cocktails.
We will be back to Majorca but not Santa Ponsa it didn’t steal our hearts.

Lovely clean hotel, fabulous pools, and friendly staff.
5 mins walk to bus stops to go to other resorts
5 mins walk to beach, 25 euro for 2 beds and umbrella, sea isn't the best though.
15 minute walk to a very quiet harbour area
Breakfast nice and dinner ok. Loved cold buffet so tasty but hot food wasn't great and meat terrible however the salad cold bar was just what we needed.
Drinks good value and evening entertainment was OK, pleasant enough for a quiet break.
Would definitely revisit
Disappointed yoga teacher didn't arrive as we got up early and was looking forward to it.
Didn't try gym and spa but looked good.
Tv channels not great for English tv if you're interested

Great adults only hotel
This was my fourth visit to the hotel. It has a great location. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size and always very clean. There’s a big selection of food on offer for breakfast and dinner - and it’s always very tasty. With several pools, you can always find a sun lounger at any time of the day. There’s a lovely quiet, calm vibe in the hotel. Looking forward to making a fifth visit at some point!

Good
Stayed here for 5 nights from 13:07:26 and found the hotel to be welcoming and friendly. Our room was of a good size but on checking in you are just told where to go with no one helping you or taking you to your room.. the room was of a good size and cleaned daily to a good standard.. breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The pool which we had access to on the roof(which we paid extra for) terrace was small with a green scum around the edge which left and white bathing costumes green.. this has washed out on return but dues make you wonder what us I. The water..
the nightly entertainment is ok and the bar staff are really friendly and helpful.. overall a good location to the beach and restaurants..

A mixed bag. Not quite as advertised for sports
The hotel is in a good central location near the beach, cafes and shops.
The rooms are ok and cleaned well.
The odd bits - if you are coming here to use the advertised sports facilities there’s some info you need to know.
Bike storage is advertised on website but it’s just some space in the hotel general storage area. No tools, not even a track pump for tyres. One small bench and the room is not air conditioned so building and breaking down bikes becomes a hot workout in itself. Also the room is not secure - we arrived a few times to find the door open. Photos attached.
The hotel advertises a semi Olympic 25m pool which it does have but doesn’t officially open until 10am and at that point most people are rightly casual swimming and enjoying a dip. No room for length swimming. If you go in before official opening time, the cleaners are busy cleaning the scum line (yup it’s a bit bad). If you are coming here for length swimming - it’s not ideal.
Also the gym opens at 10am - no idea why. Surely most people would want to use it before the day starts.
It feels as though the hotel is trying to position itself as a sports hotel but no one on the hotel team has really thought about what that looks like in reality.
The buffet is ok but does lack vegetation main course options.
The rooms are ok and cleaned well.
