Sierra food at its best

Cambil os a gorgeous little villages in the heart of Sierra Magina, maní producers of Jaén extra virgin olive oil. The heights provide great locations for hiking and landscapes abound. Ir also holds a huge History span with Roman , Muslim remsins and sites. We ate at Alcaidia , renowned for offering the best choto al ajillo. It did. Hearty food, great great lomo, and needless to say jamón . Will return.

Poor room management experience

I was going with a group and they put 7 women in an apartment, 4 in the living room in a bed chair that sank the head throughout the night, being the feet much higher than the head and two other single beds, in room two in a double bed I go mattress sank on one of the sides of the bed and a single bed, having only one toilet for 7 we had to claim towels as they only put for 6 and there were toiletries also only for 6, in the kitchen there were only 2 cups and 3 drinks. This apartment was too small, at most only 4 people could have entered. Rich and hearty meals. It has a lift

By the way

I chose it because it was a very good economical option and it was convenient for me on my route. Located in a quiet town, you can park next door, at least on weekdays and if there are not many people in the bar-restaurant, which, by the way, is where you check-in. The treatment with the workers was very good. The room requests could be given to me, very comfortable double bed, we slept well. The bathroom with a nice sink, adapted for disabled people. Be careful with the electric water heater, because if you get drunk you will run out of hot water. There is an elevator to go up to the rooms. As for the restaurant, it has a varied menu, with mixed dishes, hamburgers..... and the prices, well for the quantity, quality and that it is below the room, they seem good to me, they also give you a free tapa with drinks. The included breakfast seemed little to me, half a simple toast with coffee.

Good with nuances.

The food was very good. The service could have been much better (it's not the fault of the service, it's the fault of those responsible) The service has to serve 12 tables with an average of 4 diners, so you have to order the second drink at the same time. time to sit at the table. The service serves the tables and leaves empty without collecting the finished dishes. If the dishes from the other tables were collected we would save time and work.

Large suite on top floor very spacious and comfortable
They welcome dogs in your room but not elsewhere
Bar and restaurant very local and nice local delicacies good menu del dia @9.5euro for 3 courses
Good value for money as a stop over
