Peace of mind, perfect price...

Little hotel without great luxuries but comfortable, clean, quiet and with wonderful views of the village and the sea in the distance, excellent treatment by the owner with pleasant conversation during breakfast included in the price, my experience....to return, Casares is beautiful....

Great view station fabulous views must not miss

Just used the coffee bar from the hit egg L and the loos. Beautiful setting magnificent views all around nice staff. Only reason I have posted us don’t do what we did . We drove to the and parked at the castle front came out and followed the road down the other side as Google maps said keep going turn left 2km . If a dirt tract in the woods , big big stones sone parts look in passable nowhere to turn around just have to keep going praying you don’t get a flat tyre . At sone stages it gets better then back to big stones fir 14km. yes 14km. When I got to the tarmac road I google the trip to the top 14km . Had to stop half way and put the wife in the boot with a roll of gaffer tape as me ears were bleeding — only joking —- it was a sock tied into her mouth with a tight scarf. But my ears did get better —/— until I let her out

nice rural hotel

Its not that hard to find just park in the last car park at the top of the village and the signs are there but go left its a couple of minutes from there. the room was very clean and had a little balcony with a great view. the bed was good and we slept well. Breakfast was basic but sufficient but a ltttle bowl of tomato would have been nice
allain all a good expreience would go back.

Basic but comfortable

All rooms have baconies and ours had wonderful views over the village and beyond. Room was comfortable but basic. Breakfast even more basic. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is not possible to park close to the hotel and best bet is probably to drop someone with luggage off in the main square (which is just a few minutes walk from the hotel) and then park.

Not good for sleep

This hotel is located on one of the many hills in the lovely village of Casares. If you are going by car it’s best to park on the nearby MA8300, free public parking and walk down to the hotel. Check in was easy enough, however Spanish is the only language spoken. Free Wi-Fi is offered, but I think you have to be very near to the living quarters to get it. None in our room. The room consisted of two separate beds and a bathroom with shower. Fairly clean. Nice views from the French windows. However and a big however, the beds…… The mattress was ok if you have a bad back, but otherwise they were the hardest ones we have ever had in any establishment we have ever visited and the pillow was even worse!!! When you did manage to get some sleep, then the bed frame creaked like hell whenever you moved and woke you up. Unfortunately, in my view, the idea of staying in an establishment near to where you are visiting, is to get a good sleep in order to explore the village. It was in a good location to explore the town, but be warned, very STEEP hills in the village. Breakfast limited to warm bread, spreads, orange juice and coffee/tea
