Could have stayed here much much longer

This amazing place is an oasis overlooking beatiful mountains, lakes and valleys. The tranquililty and peacefulness here cannot be described into words. We stayed here for four nights with our two kids (age 10 and 9). We hiked the pasarelas the montfalco, a 90 minute drive from Cal Soldat (highly recommended, one of the highlights of our roadtrip through east of Spain). The other two days we just stayed at the pool, enjoying the silence and beautiful views. Cpuld have stayed here much much longer. The place is well maintained, with beautiful gardens (flowers, fruit trees) and the owners are very kind. Truly a gem!

A privileged place

This renovated old rural house is a complex of several buildings with their own kitchen, dining room, rooms and bathrooms. This means that you can bring your own food and follow your own eating hours. Otherwise the nice and helpful owners offer breakfast and even dinner. By the way, the breakfast is a kind of continental breakfast, so don't expect hot food (and don't expect cereals or yogurts either).
The place is truly beautiful. It's been fully restored and now there is even a refreshing outdoor pool (and some underground chambers work as "museum"). It's perfect for families, but also for couples, business meetings and team building days. Wifi works perfect and covers the whole property. However, what surprised us was that rooms didn't have air-conditioning and neither mosquito nets in the windows (watch out because there are some terrible tiny mosquitoes). Bathrooms don't have either shampoo, hair dryer and other details found in other good hotels. Nonetheless, you are in a privileged place in the countryside, very close to the Pyrenees and with many outdoor activities nearby, so bathroom amenities should be your last concern. Just relax and enjoy the silence, the nature and the stars at night.

Historic manor house, lovingly restored. Fascinating history and excellent views. Very friendly hosts.

Cal Soldat is a manor home lovingly restored with multiple rooms and several common areas. An excellent set up for a family as also includes suites with kitchens. Would highly recommend for couples/families who wish to spend time together as also has a sitting area, pool, ping pong table etc. Could be an excellent location for a business retreat as the dinning room , with its fantastic views , has plenty of space. The hosts, who also speak French and English, are eager to help. Ask for the tour of the historic building full of info on life in the manor as well as interesting details on the renovation itself. Beautiful mountainside retreat

This is definitely a hidden gem in the Catalan pyrenees, located on a steep hillside overlooking Lake Terradets. It is an ancient Spanish hacienda that was beautifully renovated and now has a small swimming pool and a beautiful sitting area. It's more like a cosy bed and breakfast, and the owners do everything to make guests feel at home. The price is no bargain considering its remote location far from any major city, but the place itself is worth every cent. You can visit ancient castle ruins or swim in Lake Terradets, but you will need a car to get there and away. Highly recommended, we'll surely be back.

hemos estado un grupo de amigo,este fin de semana de septiembre, el sitio es ideal para descansar y relajarte, el silencio es fantástico. un sitio para repetir.la amabilidad de Rosa es fantástica, es como estar en casa.
