Excellent weekend.
Excellent stay at the ibis Barcelona Castelldefels!
Everything was perfect from start to finish. The welcome was both professional, friendly, and smiling, which immediately puts one at ease. I particularly appreciated the small gesture in the room with a personalized welcome note, a delicate touch that makes a difference.
The hotel's eco-responsible commitment is remarkable and is felt in many daily details. It is a genuine, sincere, and coherent approach.
The location is ideal, between the beach and downtown, allowing easy access to everything Castelldefels has to offer.
The room was very comfortable, with high-quality bedding that ensures restorative sleep. The air conditioning also deserves special mention: perfectly set, efficient, quiet, and never too cold. A true comfort, particularly appreciated during the summer months.
Finally, the breakfast is a real asset: fresh products, varied choices, a complete offering, and prices that are unbeatable. An excellent way to start the day.
In summary, a welcoming hotel, comfortable, ideally located, and committed to a responsible approach. An address that I recommend without hesitation and where I will gladly return.

Room neglected and bathroom impossible
We spent 3 nights, the room lacks cleanliness, dust that has not been removed for some time, the bathroom is the worst, it is a very small cabin where only one person can enter, the shower is next to the toilet and sink, if you get up in the middle of the night you have to be very careful as there is a step to enter the bathroom, the air conditioning leaked water, it was reported on the first day and the second, the receptionist's response was "when the maintenance service comes," so we spent those 3 days with water in the room. The bed is comfortable and the room is large. I cannot comment on the facilities the hotel offers as we only stayed overnight, the good thing is that there are places nearby for breakfast, etc.... We will definitely not return due to the price, bathroom, and maintenance of the room. We often go to Barcelona and this hotel leaves much to be desired, the worst is the bathroom.

Check-in/out was catastrophic.
In this type of international hotel, there should be someone who is completely fluent in French because even with a translator, it is complicated.
People entering our room in the middle of the night.
Minimalist breakfast.
Room with the bare minimum. Soon, there may even be more bed.....
Street-side room too noisy, ineffective air conditioning (22)
But still soundproofing of the rooms, hallway, neighbors.
Small parking lot, you need to reserve upon arrival. €10/night.
In short, given the service paid for, it is better to choose a higher-end hotel.

Airport hotel, good location, great breakfast, but the air conditioning is inadequate
For an early flight, we stayed at the Ibis Castelldefels near the BCN airport. It is located in an industrial area, right next to a larger shopping center, a big organic market, and a Carrefour. Parking for 10 EUR/night directly at the hotel, there are electric charging stations and a gas station next door. The rooms are furnished in a spartan and practical IBIS style. The breakfast was very good and extensive. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room is not suitable for summer temperatures; only a light cool breeze comes out, which does not manage to cool the room. Perhaps the design of the air outlet should be changed to avoid obstructing it. I noticed a guest who wanted to sleep during the day asking for a fan. He received one, with the remark from the staff that they only had two pieces of it. The hotel is okay from the room, unfortunately not in the warm season.

Very comfortable beds. Clean and in a great location. Opposite a mall. Good shopping and restaurants. Staff lovely
