A lovely stay.

This is exactly the kind of place you hope to find when you travel.
A lovely place. Fantastic hospitality and a price that is more than good.
I travel a lot and we loved it here. The town is very charming and beautiful. But its a lot of walking. So wear good shoes.
We will come back.

Valentine night away!

A huge thank you to Marc & Charlotte! From the moment of booking to leaving today they could not have been more helpful.
What a beautiful house with added personal touches. Located just minutes to the main square of Competa l.
Very comfortable bed & beautiful bath tub.
Great breakfast this morning.
We will be back when next visiting this area.

Family.

Our choice to stay in the wonderful village of Cómpeta was the Maroma house. At all times before arriving, Marc and Charlotte were watching our arrival, even guided us to choose the best route to get there and park for free in the village. We were greeted by his son Nick, a super polite and attentive boy who even if he says he does not speak our language well, I can certify that he speaks quite fluent Spanish.
The room we got was the Weave, and the truth is that it was perfect. The decor, the comfort of the mattress, the spacious bathroom.., no detail was lacking. We had to climb some stairs, as it is a traditional old house renovated, but that we did not pose any problems. The common areas also a marvel, with a very spacious terrace and a charming dining room.
Now without a doubt the best and what makes the difference is the family that welcomed us as if we already knew each other before. We had a lovely dinner that we will never forget, with our lazy English and Nick’s amazing Spanish we went a few hours talking. We were left wanting to stay more days simply because of the hospitality they provided. Thank you so much for every family.

Delightful, unexpected stay

We had a delightful unexpected stay
With Marc and Charlotte ,super friendly people, they have a beautiful boutique bed and breakfast full of the character of Competa rooms are lovely cool and comfy, fantastic terrace with amazing views, just perfect with their honesty bar!! We just sat and soaked it all in!! Breakfast was delicious with some lovely choices!!
We will be back!!

A cute home away from home!

A true home away from home in the picturesque white town of Competa! The cosy B&B is centrally located and just a short stroll away from the lively squares where people gather for drinks and tapas. The room was nicely decorated, serene and spotless. The rooftop terrace offers fantastic views over the nearby mountains which are a hiker’s paradise. We regret not having spent a bit more time here as it is just perfect to unwind. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. Highlight was the breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Competa also had a more authentic vibe than the other villages we visited so it’s a good choice if you are wondering where to stay!
