Unforgettable experience

Our arrival at Punta Grande Hotel was one of those that excite.
It was my 51st birthday and, although the initial idea was not to stay in the suite but in a balcony room, we were fortunate that Davide recommended the change. Quite a success, because the experience was unforgettable: a place where, when you walk through the door, you disconnect from the world and change the chip to “canary” mode... quiet, without rush, savoring every moment.
There are few places that have impressed me, for the whole of everything: the setting, calm, close treatment and small details.
Thank you for your tips on what to visit, where to eat and how to enjoy the sunsets with a glass of good wine.
Thanks for everything, Laura, Davide and daughters. We'll be back...

Great location - service not.

The hotel was recommended to me by a friend who has stayed on El Hierro for a long time. He was right. The location at the end of a small promontory is unique and definitely worth a visit...The senator suite is overwhelming with large terraces and spacious bathroom. There are tea making stations in the house - in our luxury suite, however, there were no tea bags on the second day. I have the impression that the service is not the first priority for us guests. Breakfast is only available during an hour from 9:00 to 10:00, it doesn't matter what you might have an appetite for, eggs are served unprompted in the form of existence that just comes to the mind of the boss, we have no say in that. We searched in vain for cereal bowls or yogurt, instead you get an Actimel. The boss has the unpleasant quality of constantly being in wait because you obviously run the risk of operating the various electronic gadgets incorrectly or not putting the jam spoon on your own plate. His behavior borders on transgression and creates a somewhat oppressive atmosphere. With a rather high-priced hotel like this, I have different expectations.

Exceptional❤️

A really special place, full of charm and history, surrounded by the ocean and with breathtaking views of the cliffs of the island. It perfectly combines modern comfort with a sustainable and respectful approach to the environment. Breakfasts are exquisite, always personalized and prepared with high quality local products. Paula and Davide are exceptional hosts: friendly, attentive and always willing to make the stay unforgettable. An absolutely recommendable experience!
