CHARMING PLACE
During the first week of July, we spent a week staying at this small hotel, as Jaca was our base for taking excursions through the Aragonese Pyrenees. I was not very convinced about staying in a small hotel, as I had doubts about how a small place is managed or the professionalism in that management. I was wonderfully surprised to find such a pleasant, quiet place with very comfortable and spacious rooms. The cleanliness of the rooms was excellent, the breakfast was exquisite and very abundant, and the hotel has small details like the possibility of enjoying fresh water in the rooms or for excursions. The staff was very pleasant, suggesting routes to us and asking us every day about our experience, and the owners were charming. A wonderful place that we hope to be able to return to.

Pura vida!
Nice quiet location on edge Jaca, within walking distance center. Good bed, good breakfast (in garden ev.), friendly service, durable, water filter-drain machine.

Hidden Jaca gem
My 4th trip to Jaca to spend time with friends and my first at this quiet unassuming gem.
Its location to the north of the town means a bit of a walk but it’s through lovely quiet streets and close to the delightful paseo de la Cantera - a beautiful walk above a small ravine.
There is plenty of parking on the streets close by and you may be lucky enough to be right by the property. The downside is it’s not properly shaded and open.
The weather I experienced meant a very hot car! Get reflective shades and search out a good spot after you’ve dropped your bags as it’s worth it.
The staff are lovely. Very welcoming and clear on how to get in and out of the hotel and your room set up.
The room I had was well sized. Very quiet and with superb aircon (also very quiet). The windows have blinds you can adjust from a runner to block out light and add to coolness. The windows also have fly protectors.
The bed was a good size and usb ports by the bed were much welcomed. The mattress was a little hard for me but that is just personal preference.
A bijou en-suite meant a rather small shower which I did find difficult manoeuvring in but I am on the big size. Which also carried over to the towels - tho they were really quite small even for normal standards. A point which I’m sure can be easily fixed.
I must confess I did not have breakfast - mainly because I was visiting friends who live/grew up in Jaca so we met every day for breakfast in one of the many cafes this beautiful town has.
This is an excellent small hotel with lovely rooms, great staff and within walking distance from an historic town on the Camino trail.
I thoroughly recommend it and will be back on my next visit to see my friends

Perfect hotel to visit Jaca: comfortable, cozy, and quiet.
Small hotel well located in Jaca, very close to the Citadel, but in a very quiet area.
Our suite-type room was very large and comfortable. Nice courtesy details such as water or a coffee maker in the room.
They only offer breakfast (but this is not a problem because in 10 minutes of walking you are in the city center), and it is abundant and of high quality.
The kindness of the owners and the rest of the staff stands out.

What an amazing stay! The owners were wonderful people and so friendly with lots of great advice! Their property was gorgeous, comfortable, clean, and just a great place to relax! Our bed was the most comfortable one I’ve ever stayed in away from home! They had great amenities in our room that made it easy to eat leftovers or have a light breakfast in the morning. Parking was easy out front and they also had a reserved parking spot close by for use when the street parking got busy. The walk to town was really close and there was a lovely trail behind their place. We were there for a mountain race and they had it on the tv the whole time and were following along which was so fun to chat with them about it! Don’t know if we’ll ever have the pleasure to stay there again, but would love to come back some day!
