The NH Imperial Playa enjoys a great position on the beach of Las Canteras Beach in Las Palmas. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout and a gym it is located just about 50 meters from our hotel, within our sister property, NH Playa de las Canteras.

Very good location of the hotel!
Great location of the hotel right by Playa de Las Canteras!
Very good, varied breakfast buffet.
There is no direct parking available at the hotel. There are paid parking spaces in the nearby public parking garage. However, for arrival and departure, you can park directly in front of the hotel entrance for a maximum of 15 minutes.

Comfortable Stay in a Great Location, with Minor Room Improvements Needed
Great location, clean and well-maintained hotel, and very good service throughout the stay. The staff were professional and helpful, and the overall experience was positive.
The main drawbacks were related to in-room amenities and entertainment. The TV system is outdated and does not support easy connectivity with iPhones, and there is no Chromecast or similar streaming option. A kettle for preparing hot drinks in the room would also be appreciated. Additionally, only one complimentary bottle of water is provided upon arrival, with no replenishment during the stay.
Despite these minor shortcomings, this is a very good hotel that offers excellent service, cleanliness, and a convenient location.

Perfect.
Very clean and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. Nearby shops, restaurants, and transportation. Paid covered parking is also very close, right by the beach.

I stayed at the NH Imperial Playa in Gran Canaria this week. The hotel’s location is definitely its strongest point, right on the beachfront and very convenient for walking around Las Palmas. It’s a great base if you want easy access to the city and the sea.
That said, the overall experience was mixed. The room felt quite basic and, in particular, very dark, which made it less comfortable than expected. The bathroom could also be improved, as there was a noticeable smell coming from the pipes.
Service was fine and everything worked as expected, but nothing really stood out. Overall, it’s a decent option mainly for its location, but there’s room for improvement in terms of comfort and maintenance.
