Highly rated, will be returning
A wonderful week away with my family.
Upon our arrival, we were fitted with all inclusive bands instantly. Our room wasn't quite ready (2pm) and we were advised we could go in for some lunch or use the bar, it would be ready in an hour (it was).
Room:
Standard apartment in H block, a short walk away from main facilities.
Clean, spacious, quieter location with views of the mountains from both sides.
Our bedroom over looked the play park which, at times got a little rowdy on a night but not usually past 11pm.
Facilities:
Pool area: Not too busy, clean and well maintained, close to bars and snack bar.
Pool side toilets: Could have been cleaner and more well maintained but there were other toilets to use.
Poolside bar: Got busy at times but didn't seem to be waiting for long. Closed at 7pm.
Snack bar: Brilliant for the most part, a little inconsistent day to day. Closed at 7pm.
Indoor bar area: Clean, the bar itself did get quite busy but queue time was less than 10 mins at the most during busy periods on a night. Unfortunately there is only one bar open after 7pm.
Entertainment: Outstanding. The animation team were incredible, the events they put on were brilliant and they put a lot of energy in to getting everyone involved.
We didn't use the water park but everyone seemed to be having a great time in there.
Reception team were helpful.
Restaurant: The food was good enough. Some days it was better than others but there was a variety and there was always something, even if we didn't fancy the main.
Location: close to amenities, other bars and restaurants and public transport.

Fantastic family holiday
We’ve had a fantastic stay at Albir Garden Resort & Aquapark! . The pools and aquapark were a huge hit with the kids and kept them entertained every day.
The staff were friendly, hardworking and always happy to help. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a family holiday.
The food offered a good variety, with plenty of choice for both adults and children. The entertainment team worked incredibly hard to create a fun atmosphere throughout the day and evening.
The location is great too – just a pleasant walk into Albir, with lovely shops, restaurants and the beach nearby.
Overall, we’ve made some wonderful family memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Albir Garden Resort & Aquapark to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly holiday in the Costa Blanca. Thank you to all the staff for helping make our holiday so enjoyable!

Fantastic All-Inclusive for Families – Incredible Food, Great Pools, with a Few Helpful Tips to Know

**Review:**
I’ve been on a good few all-inclusive holidays, and I would say this was probably the best in terms of food options. We traveled as a family of four and stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment. The room was fine and very practical: two single beds in the bedroom, a sofa that converted into two singles in the living room, a bathroom with a shower, and a handy kitchen area with cooking facilities, a kettle, and a fridge.
**Food & Drink (The Highlight)**
The all-inclusive package was the absolute highlight. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are in the main restaurant, and even my fussy kids always found something they liked. Each night has a theme, with "Street Food" night (burgers, pulled pork) being the standout.
During the day (11 am to 7 pm), the pool bar serves alcoholic and soft drinks, plus all-inclusive ice cream and slushies. The poolside snack bar was also brilliant—serving burgers, hot dogs, nuggets, chips, and fantastic pizzas. We practically lived off the burgers and pizzas!
*Top Tip:* If you have an early flight home, ask reception the night before. We were leaving at 7:30 am, and they kindly made up packed lunch bags for the four of us (sandwiches, fruit, snacks, and water) to collect at checkout.
**Pools & Entertainment**
The pool setup is great. There are three main pools (one deep, one waist-high, one for younger kids), plus an aqua park with larger flumes for adults/older kids, smaller chutes, and a tipping water bucket that the kids loved. I believe theres also an indoor pool but we didnt use this.
*Top Tip:* Sun loungers are plentiful, but the towel brigade starts early. I recommend heading down around 7 am if you want a good spot.
*Note on pools:* Inflatables aren't permitted, but pool noodles are fine and can be bought at the shop across the street.
For entertainment, we were there during the World Cup, so we spent our evenings watching matches on the big outdoor screen, though the indoor shows looked fun too. The entertainment team also runs a Wednesday afternoon pool party with music and foam, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed.
**Location & Staff**

The location is very convenient. There’s a supermarket and an Asian bazaar right across the street that sells everything you might have forgotten. The resort is about a 20-minute walk to the Albir promenade where you find the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants. If you want to visit Benidorm, there is a bus and taxi stop right outside. We took the bus—it only took 15–20 minutes and cost just €8 each way for all four of us.
**Things to Bear in Mind (Why it’s a 4, not a 5)**
* **Resort Size:** The resort is large and spread out. We were in an apartment block near the very back, which meant long walks to the pools and restaurants. Keep this in mind if you have mobility issues. There are rooms in the main building but I am unsure how these are allocated.
* **Evening Bar Queues:** After 7 pm, only the indoor bar is open. Because it’s a busy place, the queues were always very long (though fortunately, there is no cap on how many drinks you can order at once).
* **Wasps:** Not unique to this hotel, but there were a lot of wasps hovering around the swimming and outdoor entertainment areas.
Overall, a brilliant family holiday with exceptional food and lovely staff. Would highly recommend it!

Smokey Hell
Disgusting smokers everywhere smoking around children. As far as I am aware people are supposed to smoke in designated smokers areas. But this is not enforced. Selfish people smoke all round the pool and in the outside entertainment area. There are no ashtrays so the scum bags use plastic cups or literally flick their ash on there floor where children are walking round the pool bare foot. Fag butts are all over the grass area. Plastic cups blow over with ash and fag butts going all over the floor. It's 2026 not the 70's. It's time this hotel created an environment where children can be safe from second hand smoke and lung cancer risks.

Good 3 star family hotel
Pros
Cheap and cheerful
Entertainment crew are great
Pools are great there is a deep pool for swimming , a full
Waist height one great for kids and two good baby / toddler pools
It’s not a sunbed race every morning you can usually get a decent ish spot if you go down 7-8ish
The water park is great lots of good slides and very close to the pool so easy to nip over for a bit
Snack bar at the pool serves decent food - burgers, nuggets, pizza chips etc and you are served .. defo better than usual pool food
The pool stays open all night! So you can stay out as long as you like & still be swimming while the entertainment is on!
Evening entertainment is good , they did a Disney show while we were here which was good and kids kareoke ,
The white party was great and had a reptiles show
You can always get a table pretty close to the stage too even if you miss some of the mini disco (no rushing to get there early to get a seat )
Rooms are very basic looking but are clean
There’s a supermarket and a couple of shops just over the road

The only real
Con to this place is the queues - you have to queue for everything! All the bars always have long queues which was annoying and the restaurant too you couldn’t help yourself to wines or soft drinks you have to queue tor these at a bar which was super annoying.
The food in the restaurant was really pretty poor. It all tasted nice but very little choice some days and not much at all for kids. no seafood sauce ! ( a staple of every holiday I’ve ever been on) and no selections of cheeses / pickles which you usually get. It put me off eating in the restaurant really,
The sunloungers are plastic and very uncomfortable. There are only
A few too which you can put the backs up on so you have to hunt for these in the morning and most people end up buying cushion covers from the shop over the road for 20 euros .
The room we had was split into a bedroom and a living room type space with a couch with a single bed which pulled out (family of 3)
The balcony was in the bedroom part which felt strange. The balcony’s are quite small but have plastic tables and chairs on them .
They still use key cards ( the last few places I have been have had the keys on your wristband which is much easier then remembering to have your card on you all the time )
There isn’t much choice of ice creams /lollies etc for kids around the pool and nothing you can help
Yourself to (apart from water stations)
Re kids club. They do some things around the pool with the kids but my daughter was disappointed they didn’t have a base with air con to do crafts etc in as was too hot sitting outside.
All in all it was still a really good holiday and the place defo has good points.
The beach is about a 20 min walk from the hotel and nothing really exciting on the way so we got a taxi with the kids (6
Euros each way) when we went. It is a pebbly beach rather than smooth sand so we only went one evening to get a meal out ( there are nice restaurants on the beach front)
We got a taxi into Benidorm one day to go to the actual beach , that was 16 euros each way and there was places for braiding kids hair there and lots going oN
