Especially for couples, a big ten.

We stayed here two nights , to also experience El Cotillo "by night". After this we drove on to our beloved Corralejo. It is beautiful little hotel in the center of "old " El Cotillo. A few steps from the port , with all its fine restaurants and bars. We were received by a very sweet owner, where we immediately got some tips for our stay in El Cotillo. The atmosphere in this small hotel ( 4 rooms ) was mega-relaxed. In the morning there were sandwiches and fruits ready, which you can eat on the beautiful roof terrace. Coffee and tea service in the rooms. It was a real pleasure to stay here , and we will definitely go back again.

Our stay was simply marvellous

An oasis of tranquility, cleanliness and the caring provision of needs for the weary traveller. Complementary croissants, fruit, nuts and dates start your day in a healthy way. There's no fuss, no noise, no problems, spend a few hours on the sunny terrace, dip in the jacuzzi or just relax when you return from the nearby beach in your ethnic themed room with a glass of complementary cava, water, fresh coffee or tea. The owners work on site, so you can be sure that in El Hotelito, every day the service is %.

Winter R n R (Rest & Recuperation)

We had a wonderful wee week at El Hotelito del Cotillo. Utterly sweet accommodation in fabulous location run so well by Monica and her small team. Clean and in a North African style with a beautiful roof top space on the road that runs down to the perfect Concha beach. We had freshly delivered croissants, fruit and nuts every morning on the roof before the day began….What could be better than a week in the blissful sunshine away from our home in chilly Scotland!
We loved Hotelito and Cotillo is a real find with great restaurants and tapas bars and amazing sunsets on the west coast. We got some great tips from Monica of places to visit on the coast and in the mountains and had a hire car so we could visit some of these island jewels.
We’d love to return and would definitely stay at El Hotelito again and make our Winter break a more regular fixture here. Top spot!

More a Crash Pad than a Charming Place to Linger

The Bedroom is very small without a table or a sofa/chair. Its walls are thin since I can easily hear the movements/conversations of the guests next door. The window faces the courtyard so for privacy reason is drawn most of the time, resulting in a dingy vibe, and not a place you feel like lingering. Bathroom also has no windows leading to mildew stains on the bathroom caulking, and water easily spills out of shower onto the bathroom floor. Check-in was impersonal via a text code to the key box, and copious instructions via sms was somewhat off-putting. The charm and personal warmth of a small hotel was missing for me here. I expected more for the price paid compared to my other lodgings in Fuerteventura and even Lanzarote. On the plus side is the Warm hospitality, esp. the bonus daily Croissant breakfast bonus, espressos, and water refills.

A lovely boutique place…

A fantastic place, which has a lovely host, Monica. Very clean, great location and a place we would definitely return to. Monica was also exceptionally helpful in providing guidance about the island. It’s only a 3 minute walk to the old harbour, which is the best location.
