no free water near the pool or in the lobby.
nice pool, nice rooms. walkable to the beach. brunch buffet that was open late was a great option.

We stayed at Tent Arenal with our family, including our children, during our trip to S'Arenal.
I have to say that the service was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay truly enjoyable. They really went above and beyond, and we are very grateful for their hospitality.
The only downside is that I don't think this hotel is particularly suitable for families with children. During the high season, there are many German and Dutch guests, and unfortunately some of them behave quite poorly. There was a lot of drinking, loud shouting, and noise late at night and again early in the morning, which was disturbing for families trying to sleep.
Fortunately, the wonderful staff made our stay worthwhile despite this.
One suggestion for improvement would be to enforce the no-smoking policy more strictly. Smoking is not allowed around the pool area, but some guests ignored the rule without being reminded, which affected the experience for others.

Great hotel at great location near beach.

A super clean hotel with everything you could ask for, for a hotel of this budget.
We were very pleasantly surprised!
Great brunch, free flow until 1.30pm, a gym, pool and bar.
In the lobby there are comfy time out spaces and a lounge area where you can watch tv ( World Cup in this case) and a microwave, plates etc so you can bring in meals which was really convenient.
There is a Tebt laundry just a block away to do your washing so a perfect place to be for any length of time.
The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful!
Highly recommend!

Above and beyond welcome package

The receptionist was smooth and helpful from the start. We had a great stay and the food was the best I’ve seen (Breakfast & Brunch) included from 8-1pm. Rooms were amazing, clean and comfortable, the reception was always helpful and ready to assist. We also like the idea that we can leave our bags when we check out and go explore and come back to collect anytime. Best value for money if not above and beyond. I would 100000% recommend.

Buffet

Rafael, who is serving at the buffet, is very kind, smiling, and helpful.
One can see in him a good person.
Moreover, the buffet was very enjoyable
A drink is offered, which is a nice gesture, but it's a pity that there are only beer and soda. A simple fruit juice would have been appreciated.
