Amazing traditional Spanish mountain Inn

Traditional mountain Inn situated in quiet village with river nearby. After a miscalculation of journey time we arrived very early (around 1pm) but still received a warm welcome from the owners and were shown to our rooms to relax. The place has a fantastic retro look and is spotlessly clean, our lovely room had a tiny balcony on one side, sofa and great bedding. There was a roomy guest lounge upstairs that would be great for groups. It has a bar and restaurant serving good local fare. The breakfast was superb with so much food including freshly made pancakes! One of our favourite stays during a bike tour of Spain&Portugal, we hope to return and would recommend to anyone seeking authentic hospitality

Motorcycle tour

Last night of a motorcycle tour of Spain and Portugal
Location was great - out of Portes town and just a few hours ride to Santander
Hotel was dated but clean and tidy.
Rooms need modernising
Friendly staff.
Evening meal was great but breakfast disappointing

Nicely situated

After first getting a very small room with a very small shower, we were shut down a day later to a fantastic room with balcony. Totally awesome. Only Basque is spoken and a little English. Location is perfect for those seeking peace. Very nice picturesque village. From here you can take beautiful rides to the Picos and other hiking areas. You can eat in hotel with a daily menu or you go to Potes a 10-minute drive away. Breakfast is very meagre and consists of toast, jam from a cup and butter. But the place is beautiful and totally Basque.

It's been a lot of my vacations in different places. Never Cantabria, let alone Lon.
I have brought myself a dream trip, full of natural sounds that took me back to my childhood. The room was very clean and it was the first time I did not cover the pillow with a garment of mine. Clean bathroom, new mattress, beautiful wood and a window that opens and you discover the hidden and magical nature of the place.
The food at the inn has been brutal. We've eaten luxury. Even my daughter has eaten that is already an achievement. The treatment of the waiter who always has pep talk has been very good. The reception woman very attentive always. And the owners, unbeatable. A family I think they are and I really think the inn is a dream. For those who value the ancient and at the same time careful, it is ideal. We repeat for sure because I took a collection of very beautiful ladies with whom I chatted and walked in the afternoons.
I recommend a trip to that place of story!!! Now eager to return to that natural greenlll.
Real pleasure to have set foot on that land.
