Surprise in the city of Vitoria

The excellent menu, very careful, very rich, abundant and very well presented. Very attentive and pleasant service
It is a quiet place, super recommended.
We'll be back soon.
We were in the Spa, phenomenal, very clean and ideal temperature, we have come out very relaxing.

DISAPPOINTING VEGAN MENU

On Monday, May 11th, I reserved a table for lunch today, May 16th, for four people at the hotel restaurant, informing the person who attended me that one of the guests (my daughter) was a strict vegan. No milk, no eggs, nor their derivatives. I emphasized up to three times the importance of them taking it into account. He told me that there was no problem, that they had vegan options, and that he would pass the note to the person in charge so that there would be several "options" that day to choose from. When we introduced ourselves today, I mentioned it to the waitress who attended us. She went to consult, and upon returning, she apologized and told us that there had been a communication error, and the fact is that they had to improvise poorly so that my daughter could eat something. The food of the other three was very good, and the waitress was very kind, but the vegan menu, I have to define as "improvised, extremely simple, and a disaster." The waitress, obviously, is not to blame, and I repeat that she has been very kind and understanding, and she has apologized several times, but the person in charge has not appeared to take responsibility. In short, a family meal that should have been great and a good time has left us all with a bad taste in our mouths. Thinking about it now, calmly, I regret not having gotten up with the four of us and gone to another place to eat. There are quite a few vegan restaurants or those with vegan options in Vitoria. A disappointing experience in a five-star hotel restaurant that is supposed to have good service.

Not at all a 5 star

Far from being a 5 star hotel bar poorly attended restaurant very basic no decoration it is in the hotel lobby... in short far from being a 5 star and if you forget something attention they do not return anything

Awful.

This hotel doesn't deserve the stars it has. Rooms that claim to be ‘non-smoking’ reek of tobacco. The treatment of the staff is unpleasant. In my life I have seen nothing like it in a hotel of this ‘supposed’ category. To top it off the decor is outdated, poorly located and the heating does not work. A horror.

Lamentamos profundamente que su experiencia en esta ocasión no haya estado a la altura de sus expectativas. Permítanos, no obstante, ofrecer una visión más completa de lo sucedido: Quisiéramos aclarar primeramente que la habitación que se le asignó correspondía a una categoría de no fumadores, tal y como usted solicitó, y como se puede comprobar con la perceptiva señalética ubicada junto al número de habitación. Lamentablemente, según hemos podido saber después una vez hablado con la responsable del departamento de limpieza, el huésped anterior incumplió la normativa y fumó en ella. Nuestro personal hizo todo lo posible en esa jornada para eliminar el olor, aplicado un tratamiento de ozono y realizando una mayor ventilación, pero es cierto que el olor, aunque leve según nuestras observaciones, no llegó a eliminarse por completo.
En la jornada de su llegada, el hotel se encontraba al 100% de ocupación, lo que imposibilitó un cambio inmediato de habitación. Sentimos que en esa primera noche de su estancia no pudiéramos brindarle la solución deseada, pero al día siguiente, se procedió a reubicarla, como muestra de nuestra voluntad de resolver cualquier molestia. Ud. mismo reconoció al recepcionista no haber tenido ningún tipo de incidencia en su estancia anterior. Este hecho también queda corroborado por las positivas reseñas que hemos recibido de su mismo equipo de trabajo en las mismas fechas destacando la atención recibida como la comodidad del alojamiento.
Sobre la climatización, se le ofreció enviar personal para revisarla, pero declinó que se accediera a su habitación. Al día siguiente, nuestro equipo técnico comprobó que el sistema funcionaba correctamente y que el problema se habría resuelto simplemente accionando un interruptor.
Entendemos la frustración que le supuso tanto a Ud como al recepcionista el hecho de no poderle cambiar de habitación. Esta limitación, intensificó aún más su malestar y dificultó el diálogo, hasta el punto de sentirse ofendida por el mero hecho de que el recepcionista le tratara de tranquilizar y llegase ud. incluso a solicitarle que guardase silencio, impidiendo todo intento de asistencia en aspectos que pudieron haber sido resueltos de inmediato como la climatización
Lamentamos sinceramente que su experiencia no haya sido satisfactoria y tomamos nota de todo lo ocurrido para seguir mejorando. Pero también consideramos justo matizar los hechos, sobre todo cuando el equipo del hotel actuó con diligencia, dentro de sus posibilidades.
