A gem in Tenerife
We have recently returned from another stay at the Royal Sun Resort in Los Gigantes – our seventh time at the same hotel, which in itself says the most.
We are very happy with everything. The location is absolutely wonderful, with a fantastic view straight out over the Atlantic Ocean and further towards La Gomera, where the sunsets are absolutely unbeatable. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, creating a relaxed and harmonious holiday feeling.
The staff are friendly, professional and service minded throughout, and contribute greatly to making you feel both welcome and cared for. Housekeeping is of a high standard and the overall impression of the hotel is very positive.
Royal Sun Resort is a hotel we can warmly recommend to those who seek peace, quality and outstanding views in a peaceful environment.
The only potential for improvement we see concerns the evening shows, which could usefully be further developed to match the hotel’s high standards in general.

Royal Sun Resort
This was our 4th time visiting and we will definitely return again.
The staff are all so helpful and friendly. The rooms are amazing and the views from the massive balconies are something I could sit and look at all day long.
WiFi coverage is very good which is such an important feature these days and having air con is also a huge plus.

Great stay
Hotel is really nice. We stayed in a 1 bedroom jacuzzi suite, hot tub temp was 23* and you could turn temp up/down to suit. Air con in apartment was self controlled too which is always a bonus! I would give them 4 out of 5 for cleanliness in the room although the room facilities are great & beds/pillows comfy.

Lovely Stay
The Royal Sun is an excellent hotel
Plus points:-
Spectacular views
Large well equipped one bedroom apartment if a little dated.
Excellent food choice.
Very large balcony with table and chairs plus sunbeds.
Negative points:-
Other than a Friday or Saturday there is nowhere to relax with a drink after 9.30 after the main restaurant closes, we are in our 70's but not geriatrics and do not want to be back in our rooms after dinner. We like to relax with a drink and maybe watch an act for a while. This is an integral part of our holiday. Took this up with both the hotel and the TUI rep who had no idea when or if this would change. Other guests voiced similar concerns. Never been to a TUI platinum hotel with such a poor bar area.

The best option to enjoy the stay well
We spent 1 week with the
family, and there is nothing to complain about.
Everything was fantastic.
The reception, the food, the maintenance, the room, the cleanliness, and the spectacular views. Everyone was very attentive and polite; it has been a pleasure. Thank you.
