Economic lodging of higher quality
The room I was given was sparkling clean. The entire hostal gave the impression that it had been v. recently renovated or converted.
The room was quiet in the morning and without any noise at all at night.
It had an outside shared bathroom - next to the room actually, which must have just been outfitted because it looked so new and modern.
The hostal is well located, at the edge of the old town, with max 10 min walk to any tourist sight and restos in town.
There was shared kitchen area on the ground floor with a huge, american-style fridge which cooled a lot, so that a can of beer was at the right temperature after an hour or so. On the 4th floor there is a huge terrace with a view of the town's rooftops and church towers. I ate my breakfast there in the morning sun.
Parking was free on neighbouring streets however spots in the same street were hard to find so had to park 4min walk away.
The only aspect I would have appreciated was more contact with hostal's staff and the fellow guests. Some like it - some don't.
I would stay there again without hesitation.

Holiday with my son
Room well equipped.
We had a great time.
The least: the work that starts at 8am, it's not pleasant with all the noise that goes with it (it cuts it...) Backing up an hour would not be too much and it would be perfect. We were woken up every morning either by people who talk too loud (between 6am and 8am nothing to do with the establishment) or the works (and there is a shame)
Otherwise excellent establishment
