Magnificent stay
Spectacular seafront location, on a quiet and very pleasant beach.
Exceptional qualities of the facilities and everything very clean.
Attentive service.
Pure relaxation and disconnection, which was what we needed.
Definitely to repeat and recommend.

I strongly recommend not booking this motel.
We didn’t like many things during our stay.
When we arrived at the apartment late, it was not easy to check in. We needed to make a call to activate our booking code.
Upon arriving at the apartment, we noticed there was no baby cot, even though we had pre-ordered one. The baby cot was delivered the next day but didn’t come with a proper mattress. The mattress provided seemed to be from a chair or something similar. As a result, we had to sleep with the baby on our bed.
On the first night, decorations started falling from the wall. Fortunately, they hit me and not my wife or our small baby. A temporary fix was made the same day, and the issue was permanently resolved after the weekend.
The air conditioning only blew cold air set at 18°C, no matter what temperature we selected on the screen. This made it very difficult to manage with a baby in the room.
The kitchen’s steam extractor was not working. When we reported it, we were informed that they were waiting for replacement parts.
In the kitchen, there was a long metal part under the cabinets that kept falling off. Our child found it and enjoyed playing with it, making it fall repeatedly. Luckily, nothing bad happened. It was also dirty underneath, so I cleaned it myself.
In the shower area, there are two QR codes, but they do not work, and we had no idea what they were meant for.
The most terrible issue was encountering cockroaches. We killed one, but another ran away into the corridor. The next day, I saw another one on the stairs and smashed it as well.
If you get room 101, I honestly don’t think it is suitable to be rented out.
There is a safe with a card, but it’s better not to keep your private belongings there because anyone can open it.
The main doors are not closing properly.
The neighborhood doesn’t seem very safe.
We liked that the apartment is near a nice beach, and more local people live in this town. Additionally, the receptionist was really nice and helpful. ☀️

Not much luxury here. Stay somewhere else.
The so called 'luxury penthouse' does not exactly meet my expectation of a luxury accomodation. The kitchen was actually equipped with only the necessary things, but all very cheap and not even two equal wine glasses. There are some dark spots at the ceiling that look like mold.
The main sliding door to the balcony could not be locked (while the lock of the other sliding door worked well). They mention in their guest information how important it is to always lock the doors. When they were informed via WhatsApp, they wanted to send someone the next day. However, nobody has ever contacted us again, so the door can most probably still not be locked!
The lock at the room door also seems to be there for decoration only. Even though the door was locked from the inside, the room maid was still able to open it from the outside as we didn't hear them ringing the door bell when we were sitting on the balcony.
The safety deposit box in the room can only be locked by a key card which is available. However, the safe also has a keypad. My assumption, therefore, is that someone has a PIN code to open it. And they most probably also have a second key card. Doesn't feel safe to put anything in there. Usually, you can select you own PIN code for the box. That's what I would expect.
If you don't use the marquee on the balcony during the day, it will get terribly hot in the appartment as the sun will heat it up (29° C room temperature in February!) .
The check-in procedure is a self-service. You get a code for the main entry door and get your room keys at the self check-in screen inside. There was no instruction about what to do with the key cards at check-out, so we just left them in the room.
There is close to no privacy on the balcony when other guests in the adjacent room are outside. On one evening, there were some young locals (perhaps even employees of the agency) having a party of a special kind outdoors, eventhough their own policy forbids bringing in other people.
The area (Melenara beach) is certainly not the most pleasant area on the island. The beach looks nice, but there are drunken homeless people who harass tourists. There is really nothing to see or do in town. You therefore need a car to get to some nicer places, but there is no parking (although some booking sites mention there is). The big parking area you will see on google maps satellite images in the vicinity of the building can actually no longer be used to park cars there. You will therefore have to look for a free parking slot at the road side which can be difficult at times.
It is also located in the airport's approach and departure route, so there is quite some air traffic and noise.
Would I return? No. There are better places to stay on the Canary Islands.

AVOID - False misleading pictures!!
Where to start!!
Firstly this listing is the most misleading advertisement of a place I have EVER come across. And let me also add that I have never felt obliged to leave a negative review before, I am mostly very easy going but this is so bad and so false that I feel I have a duty to warn others.
On arrival, we were shocked that there were multiple drug users outside the building and the street seems to be where they congregate. As its just a key code to get in, it feels so unsafe and uncomfortable.
The apartment itself is much more claustrophobic than the marketing pictures have stretched out to look like. Its more like student accommodation and not somewhere where you can enjoy hanging out. The facilities are all a hassle, there is no simple kettle, the microwave oven is so difficult to use, the plugs dont fit in the socket so even charging your phone is difficult.
They advertise this place as sound proof -this is false. You can hear your neighbor flushing the toilet, you can hear the drug users outside, and you can hear the construction right outside the flat which starts at 6am.
The construction is a huge factor. The pictures they have is SO misleading. There is no pretty beach view (please see my pictures for the reality). Just derelict buildings and construction work, there is NO promenade to enjoy. It is all so false.
I stayed one night and contacted the management to request a refund for the remaining nights. Rather than understanding that they are misleading people, they replied with sarcastic and patronizing responses, awful customer service.
Their response was that this was the first time they've heard of this - utterly ridiculous because when I searched for other negative reviews (Which I should have done before making this mistake) you can see other people have also complained about the small space, noise and the drugs.
Please do some research before making a terrible mistake in booking this place and ruining your holiday!!
