Impressive
Fast reception and with quality in the message.
Room, spacious, modern, very well furnished, splendid bed, and perfect bathroom.
Catering a 10, excellent staff, we booked half board.
The breakfast buffet, small but of exceptional quality, nothing was missing, and if you wanted fried eggs or omelets, you just had to ask and they brought them to you freshly made.
The dinner menu to choose from 3 appetizers, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts, all exceptional.
The spa was very good since everything worked, the small outdoor pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas was very good.
We stayed from June 28 to July 3 and I assure you that we will return.

Excellent staff, superb experience
Fantastic experience as always. Special mention to the hotel staff and cafe/restaurant, which are fantastic.

Disappointment
We went with friends and, after seeing reviews, asked that we not be given room with roof views, as mentioned in reviews (hab 106) and we were given room 105 which was worse. Normal spa, right indoor hab and upgradeable breakfast for 4*.
It was my husband’s birthday and at breakfast they were going to set us a table overlooking the sea on the covered terrace, and it wasn’t. When I said it, with a smile they justified it. Hotel with outstanding improvements. I don't leave with a good memory.

Agradecemos su reserva, lamentando no haber satisfecho sus expectativas en su estancia del pasado sábado de Semana Santa para 3 habitaciones.
Las habitaciones asignadas son del tipo de habitación que reservaron, estándar, que pueden tener diferentes localizaciones pero no tienen vistas despejadas al mar, como se indica en la descripción de la web del hotel, desde donde reservaron. De hecho, desde todas ellas sí que se ve parcialmente el mar. Por ello, siendo de categoría estándar, son apreciadas por muchos clientes que no contratan vistas al mar.
Hemos revisado la documentación de sus reservas y no nos constan peticiones o indicaciones expresas al respecto de una u otra habitación concreta. No obstante, de las 3 habitaciones reservadas se le dio opción de cambio a aquella que estaba adaptada (107) ya que entendíamos que podía resultar incómoda, ofreciéndoles cambio de forma gratuita a una habitación con vista al océano, la única que quedaba disponible. Este cambio fue solicitado pasadas las 23h en una única ocasión y se les dio la habitación alternativa en cuanto nos lo plantearon (no de forma reiterada como indica en su comentario). Por otro lado, tampoco es cierto que hubiese habitaciones libres: la única que quedaba disponible era la vistas al mar que ocuparon y, tras el cambio, quedó libre la 107 que rechazaron.
En próximas ocasiones, les recomendamos reservar habitaciones con vistas al océano ya que es la única forma de asegurarse vistas la mar frontales.
En cuanto al desayuno buffet acostumbra a ser uno de los puntos destacados positivamente por nuestros huéspedes por la calidad de los productos disponibles, con zumo de naranja exprimido al momento, variedad de bizcochos caseros, fruta fresca (cortada y al natural), ibéricos y quesos… Lamentamos que no haya sido de su agrado. Por otro lado, en desayunos no confirmamos tampoco una mesa en concreto, pudiendo disfrutar del buffet en el comedor (con vistas al mar) o en la terraza acristalada, según disponibilidad en el momento en que bajen a desayunar.
Tomamos nota del resto de comentarios que serán tenidos en cuenta de cara a mejorar la experiencia de quienes nos visitan.

Ocean views alone cannot satisfy your hunger for absent comfort
If not a beautiful Atlantic scenery, the hotel would stand in the same row of outworn, very average standard of 3star hotels. The food is not awful, but not good either. The smell of the pool detergents is overwhelming and unpleasant even in the reception area. The tiles, well, they must have been replaced some 7-10 years ago in the country which boasts of incredibly good tile industry. Unfortunately, the travellers cannot satisfy their hunger just by looking to the Ocean. Some kitchen staff reforms are very welcome.

We would appreciate it if you could provide us with some details about your stay, as with the information you have provided we cannot know when you stayed or whether your comments are based on a real experience at Talaso Atlántico: the review was written on 4 February, when the hotel has been closed to the public since 11 January.
The pool at the Thalassotherapy Centre contains seawater, extracted directly from the ocean, filtered, heated and treated only with chlorine in accordance with regulations, so it does not contain any other type of detergent or artificial chemical that emits an unpleasant odour.
As for the food, we regret that our offering did not suit your tastes; it is a restaurant that is highly rated by our guests, both those staying at the hotel and those who are not, and in addition to the restaurant menu, there is a bar menu with tapas, sandwiches, salads and more informal dishes.
During the weeks in January when the complex was closed to the public, maintenance work was carried out, including cosmetic work such as the repair of some tiles. If this is what you are referring to, you will be pleased to know that they have been replaced.
