Quiet hotel in a peaceful apartment decorated with period furniture

A very quiet place to rest, with a very nice pool in which to cool down in summer. Good cuisine and hearty dishes. Well located to visit wineries of the D. O. Valdeorras.

Diamond in the rough

The property is very nice and is furnished in every corner with beautiful antique furniture.
On request, you can take advantage of the SPA path with sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool, at a cost of 60 € per couple for exclusive use.
The SPA area is separated from the main body but the real problem is the temperature, too low for a wellness area.
The breakfast offered in the morning is quite poor.
Convenient and economical restaurant.
With a little more foresight this place could become a jewel!

It is a charming place due to its history, very ornate decoration, the rooms are very austere and very old.
The bed is not very comfortable, the air worked centrally and could not be set to your liking.
In the bathroom they left us a bottle of body milk that was almost finished, a mistake on the part of the person who replaced it, we commented on it and they apologized, they didn't go to fix it, until our departure the little bottle remained there.
Plastic drinking glasses, ameties not one!
We called to book a massage and it was not possible, it is an extra that they promote and they do not have that service.
The tables on the terrace fill up quickly, the free ones are because they are reserved for dinner.
They very kindly placed us in a garden on a wedding event table, without cleaning it (I cleaned it).
The free breakfast buffet is very basic.
It is not a 4* hotel
Rosana, the receptionist, was super friendly and tried to correct the inconveniences.
The quality/price is not in line.

Authentic mansion with history. recommendable

We stayed one night as a family (4 people) with dinner and breakfast. It is an ORIGINAL mansion that has been conditioned but that preserves all the essence of the past. We stayed in La Casona which are 2 rooms joined together. It has all the history/furniture from over 100 years ago. Dinner very good and breakfast correct. It has a swimming pool, paddle tennis and tennis. If you are looking for a very quiet place with history, this is your place

Time travel !!

Staying in this manor is like transporting yourself to the past. The decoration remains unchanged in many of the rooms (even in an old kitchen) and maintains all the period furniture, the original doors with their antique locks, tapestries, oil paintings, vases, etc. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are very spacious, renovated about 20 years ago for the mansion's opening to the public. The service staff is very friendly and attentive and they recommended some wineries and a nearby restaurant that we loved.
Without a doubt, it is worth choosing this hotel/monument to stay. We found the quality/price ratio very adequate.
