Quiet and comfortable, good beds, kitchen, bathroom and patio with own sun beds
A little far from most things , but if you like to walk , that 's good .
The staff was nice and the cleaning was 2-3 times a week.

Rest
The bedroom has two single beds with excellent mattresses. There is an iron and a hairdryer (but no ironing board).
The reception is not always staffed, but you can call someone 24/7. Our boiler broke and was replaced within half an hour (they apparently had those things in stock).
Some cottages have a private pool or jacuzzi. All bungalows are set around an elongated swimming pool. The water was on the fresh side in April, but it was just doable. On the artificial grass are about 6 2-person sunbeds with mattress. Lovely to sunbathe on and read a book. Each cottage is equipped with 2 sunbeds in the front garden (more privacy, but that is not the side of the pool). When we were there, there was hardly anyone in the garden or in the pool. In the living room is a smart TV where you can put Netflix and Spotify. With us, the bluetooth of the Google remote control regularly did not work. I managed to reset it every time by disconnecting the Google TV streamer and turning it back on.
It is extremely quiet and peaceful. The only sound there was a few times a day was of a sky-dive plane releasing paratroopers.
There is a small supermarket 150 meters. There is plenty for sale there. A little further walk is a larger supermarket.
Tajaraste is located near the famous dunes (I didn't like it, we have more impressive dunes in the Netherlands). After 1.5 - 2 km of walking along the dunes you come to a boulevard with some restaurants and shops. To be honest, I've seen nicer boulevards, but for a week it's fine. Some restaurants are downright bad, but Cafe Mozart II is highly recommended.
We thought Gran Canaria was a terrible island (nothing to do, pushy waiters, ugly high-rises). But if you - like us - want to enjoy your rest all day and read a book by the pool, Tajaraste is a lovely place.

Feel-good oasis
Everything is very clean. Very well maintained. The pool in the garden is modern (even new) and nice for swimming or chilling on the water beds.
The complex is within walking distance to the beach and the dunes. A shopping center is also within easy reach.
I'd love to come back.

What a great and silent facility
The complex is totally quiet and child-free.
Well maintained, clean and large.
The bungalows, too. They are spacious and have everything you need in terms of amenities.
The bungalows are cleaned every day (except Sundays) and there are new towels every 2 days.
Air conditioning and an additional fan provide super cooling and wind through the fan in hot temperatures. Everything works perfectly.
Behind the house there are also 2 loungers and a small table, where you can escape the sun sometimes. A shower also provides a cooling off behind the house.
We are already the 2nd. Time here at Tajaraste and book it now every year again.
The private pool we had first, which is right at the bungalow, is also very well maintained, is cleaned, vacuumed and chlorinated every 2 days.
It is very worth renting one of the 4 bungalows, you don't want to get out there anymore.
There are also bungalows with whirlpool, I can't report anything about that because I can do without it.
The staff is also super nice, helpful, clean and are not overwhelmed with extra concerns and fulfill these ones.
I forgot to mention the great terrace..., here is also room to linger, because with a large table and 4 chairs, you can sit well in the sun.
The reception is not always occupied, which means that there is not always someone here on site, but also for that there is a telephone number where you can log on or off, in case you have something on your mind or you simply have to wash and / or dry your laundry, which costs 5 euros each. Pods are also there and sufficient.
We are already looking forward to next year.
