Parque Vacacional Eden is situated in a Puerto de la Cruz. It offers accommodation gardens with swimming pools, a sauna and free WiFi. The property also offers a private parking with an extra charge along with a free shuttle serivce to the centre.

Great
- Lovely clean, spacious room. Kettle, sink, fridge and oven in kitchen.
- 2 good sized pools- managed to get Sunbeds on various days/ times with both pools having a bar/ shop.
- Walk to seafront/ centre takes around 20 minutes but there is an hourly shuttle into the centre and back throughout the day.
- Can be a little noisy at times when sleeping but isn’t too bad.
- No air conditioning but you can hire 1 fan per room for around a 12 euro deposit. You can also hire irons for a deposit.
- You can play mini golf for free and there is an 11 hole course. You can also play padel but it comes at a cost of 25 euros for 1 hour.
- The main downside for us was the quality of the food. We had breakfast on 2 days and on both occasions food was of poor quality. On the second day we found mould on the butter in the buffet. When we brought this up to a member of staff they just took it and shrugged it off. No apology.
- Overall the hotel is great and would recommend it but for self catering only.

A little slice of Eden
A lovely hotel high up above the beautiful tow of Puerto de la Cruz, offering natural surroundings, beautiful flowers and additional amenities such as tennis court, large swimming pool, activities and a sauna for guests to enjoy.
Rooms are clean, we stayed in the Esplanade Superior Studio with Balcony in the casita.
A kitchenette was available with tea,coffee facilities for two drinks provided, the room has a working fridge and complimentary water was left on the table.
Shower was large but slightly dated with some tape used around the window edge in the cubicle.
There is no air conditioning we found this a little disappointing due to the 4 start rating and with having a child…. but thankfully we found ways to keep cool naturally and managed but I would suggest if you are not someone who can manage without this might create a problem!!!!
Reception can offer fans if required but I know this can feel a little lacking especially with young children.
With regard to the large pool I do wish there was a little pool or shallow side option for children which would have been great but the large pool served our family well and we enjoyed our time!
Big shout out to the lifeguard on duty always offering help, very efficient and always monitoring the pool area which was great to see as a guest!
Breakfast was a good spread with continental and cooked options on offer. Hot beverages, juices, flavoured water!
We loved the fresh fruit options, pancakes and the quality for the cooked breakfast!

Fantastic
The hotel is amazing, greta atmosphere and the breakfast was nice. The walk to town is really nice and adventurous, only issue was walking back (which we done alot) but there is a bus you can catch to take you back up some parts of the day. Also Gave free Prosecco on my birthday which I appreciated alot.

NO GLUTEN FREE OR EVEN TAKEN SERIOUSLY!
We have just returned from 9 days staying at this hotel.
Very basic. Rooms are ok, very dated.
Hotel grounds are lovely, although limited to some areas due to on going renovations.
We paid for half board, breakfast and dinner, (although my teenage sons got told one morning they are only allowed to eat once a day on day 5 of the holiday!).
The food was diabolical. Bland, sometimes grey looking. The entire restaurant was in chaos each morning and evening, no real system in place for guests, felt a little like a cattle market!
No where to sit as large group (there were 8 of us in total). Tables where geared up for either 2 or 4 people so often, unless we got lucky and found two 4 tables, we all ate separately in groups of 4 or 2!.
Now this is the bit that was unreal.
My 10 year old daughter is coeliac, quite severely,.
Absolutely not geared up for GF AT ALL. Some of the food was GF but cross contamination was a bit problem.
When we spoke to the waiter/Manager about this issue, you got a distinct feeling you were being 'problematic'. I think they 'eye roll' from one of the Managers led indeed contributed to that feeling! (Who the hell 'eyes rolls' when you query a severe allergic reaction)!
This poor kid pretty much lived off the odd bit of melon, salad leaves, cucumber and basic scraps! Untill I eventually (and mean 'eventually' found a supermarket that sold the basics of GF food so I could cook for her).
NOTE: Tenerife as a hole does not cater well for GF, including in the south of Tenerife.
We found the a mix bag when it came to the staff. Some where nice, friendly, others, one in particular, and older waiter, shouted at people. Brisk, rude, down right un courteous.
Lastly, shower in room 512 on the 5th floods like a bugger if you leave the shower running for more than 2 minutes ( as we discovered) .. oh and on day 8 the sliding patio door handle came off in my hand as I tried to open it! Thus, no more balcony time!
On a serious note. If you have a severe allergy I tolorence, then Tenerife, my lovelies is not for you!

Not the best.
So we’ve been here since late Sunday night at the Parque vaccionale Eden in Tenerife. It’s average despite the misleading trip advisor reviews.
The site itself is quite nice & quirky but really badly laid out. You have to walk the restaurant to get to the pool which is awkward when they’re trying to clear up.
There is NO AIR CON. WTF!!!! It’s a basic expectation isn’t it? Thank goodness I brought my portable fan it was real lifesaver whilst my family were sweating.
The room is not great. Not very spacious or well kitted out. Poor facilities. We were greeted by a very musty smell upon entering your room, something akin to mould. We had to call down to reception to get them to open the patio window & maybe if they aired the rooms you wouldn’t get the smell.
The maids attend to the rooms almost daily but I wouldn’t call it cleaning. The shower (once we’d figured it out how to turn it on ) wasn’t good. The drain clogs after about 5 mins of use which fills the tray right up, however I can’t be bothered to inform reception so shouldn’t really moan.
If you want pool towels (another basic expectation of hotels worldwide I firmly believe) you have pay a €5 deposit per towel & if at any point you wish to have them cleaned you have pay €1 per towel.
There is a safe in your room but guess what, it will cost you ,€25 deposit & €2 per day.
The hotel itself needs a lot of updating throughout & every now & again you’d see a dead rat in the grounds but to be fair they cleaned them up quite quickly.
We were B&B thank goodness as the food is average at best & the weird layout meant you have to walk through the restaurant to access the paddle courts & one of the pools. The pools themselves are not bad with plenty of sun loungers available so no race to claim them or reserving but only because the residents seem to disappear most day which is weird. I can only assume that because of the isolated location of the hotel & lack of beach in Puerto de la Cruz that people hire a car & bugger off for the day.
The reception was very useful when we wanted to hire a car, they pretty much organised it for us & had it delivered to the hotel for a good price too.
The hotel caters for a good mix of nationalities so there’s no favouritism which is nice.
