Excellent service and friendly attentive staff.
We had a very warm welcome upon arrival by the owners. We were quite exhausted after a long hike and they kindly helped with our luggage to our room.
The hotel has a lovely terrace with fantastic views over Sotres and the mountains beyond.
The wholesome breakfast & coffee was the best we had in the Picos - a really good start for a days hike. The evening meals were homemade and were epic - with a good selection.
Thank you Treselcorral for a memorable stay in Sotres.

Threatening
My experience has been very unpleasant. Apparently, the hotel had a reservation registered in my name through Booking, but no reservation made appears in my Booking account. From the first moment, I explained that I did not recognize it and that it was probably a mistake.
Instead of trying to clarify the situation calmly, I received calls and messages via WhatsApp with a tone that I perceived as intimidating and, even, with a certain feeling of harassment. Despite explaining on several occasions that I did not recognize that reservation, they continued to insist in a way that I found totally inappropriate.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience this situation may have caused the accommodation, but I did not make that reservation and I do not consider it acceptable for a potential customer to be treated this way. An incident or an error by a platform should be managed with professionalism and respect, not by making the customer feel responsible for something they deny having done.
I cannot rate the rooms because I have not stayed there, nor do I have any intention of doing so after this experience. I would not recommend this establishment either, since if any incident or misunderstanding arises, my impression is that customer service can be very unprofessional and make the customer feel pressured instead of helped. The facilities may be excellent, but the customer service, in my case, has been terrible.

Comentario totalmente falso. Desde este negocio solo se le hizo una llamada telefónica al número que aparecía de contacto en la reserva hecha desde booking, ante su negativa a reconocer dicha reserva se le envió una captura de pantalla de la misma al wasap, punto. No más llamadas no más wasap. La pena es no poder subir mi frase y su párrafo , para comprobar su vocabulario completamente diferente al usado en su comentario, usted si amenazó y ejecutó dichas amenazas escribiendo varias reseñas en diferentes plataformas. Afortunadamente su caso no dijo que sea aislado, es el único que hemos vivido desde que abrimos nuestro negocio, y ya fue por 1989. Sea feliz y disfrute de la vida. Puede editar cuantas veces quiera, por mi parte se acabó seguirle el rollo, tengo mejores cosas que hacer afortunadamente

fully recommended
We were there in August 2024, all restaurants were full due to the large influx of tourists. The owner despite the volume of diners, welcomed us in her restaurant, and certainly, quite a hit... We ate the menu of the day and it was just EXPECTACULAR!!!! huge and really exquisite portions and desserts... my mother!!! A highly recommended place!!!! if I came back I would definitely repeat...

Best hotel in Sotres!
I planned a trip to Northern Spain, and this hotel caught my eye on TripAdvisor. We stayed here 2 nights and hiked Ruta de Cares. The owners were so kind, helpful and just so nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone passing through the area hiking. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the quaint little town of Sotres. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. My 15 year old daughter was so happy. I think she would have moved in the owners. They were honestly so kind. In fact the whole town is so welcoming. When we come back, we will definitely stay here again. Reasonable prices, super clean rooms, good food and great company.

Great stay
Lovely location. Superb service from family run couple. Very clean. Big balcony with stunning views. Recently renovated, all furnishings new. Room is not huge but big enough for your needs. Lady running the hotel is super friendly and no ask is too big or small. Food is lovely. Would definitely stay here again.
