The facilities are very good, the food is really good, the service is very attentive, and the entertainers are very motivating, making the activities a lot of fun. Perfect for families with children and also for couples.

Our experience at Meliá Zahara has been exceptional from beginning to end. Beyond the magnificent facilities and the location, what really makes the difference is the human quality of their team.
We want to especially thank the treatment received from Juan José, the bellhop, for his kindness, approachability, and willingness to help at all times. Also to José Manuel and Teresa, from reception, for their professionalism, their know-how, and the impeccable attention with which they made us feel at home from the very first moment.
And a very special mention for Charo, the floor housekeeper for the Granada block, 1st floor, for her excellent work, her affection, her dedication, and the care with which she maintained the room every day.
It is a pleasure to find people who perform their work with such kindness and professionalism. Without a doubt, they are the ones who turn a very good stay into an unforgettable experience.
We will gladly return!

Unfortunately, not worth returning
We stayed at Meliá Zahara expecting a premium experience, especially considering the price, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of our most disappointing stays within the Meliá group.
As Platinum MeliáRewards members, we were surprised that there was no room upgrade, no welcome drink, fruit platter, or even a small welcome gesture. These are inexpensive touches, but they make guests feel valued, and unfortunately, even those were absent. We were also surprised to be refused access to The Level breakfast area. At other Meliá hotels, we have always been welcomed to enjoy breakfast in The Level restaurant, so being turned away at the entrance was both unexpected and embarrassing, leaving us feeling very uncomfortable.
Communication was also difficult, as many employees, including at reception, spoke very limited English, and several staff members appeared unmotivated and unwelcoming.
What made the experience even more disappointing was what came next. We spent the following two weeks at Sol by Meliá Atalaya Park, a more basic four-star family hotel that we chose because of its excellent activities for children. Despite being a lower-category hotel, the overall experience was far superior. The staff were warm and attentive, we were welcomed with drinks and cakes, our daughter received thoughtful birthday gifts, and when we extended our stay to watch Spain play in the FIFA Club World Cup final, the hotel surprised us once again with drinks and gifts.
The contrast between the two hotels was remarkable. Sol by Meliá Atalaya Park delivered genuine hospitality and made our holiday special, while Meliá Zahara failed to meet even our basic expectations for service. Meliá Zahara could learn a lot from its colleagues at Sol by Meliá Atalaya Park.
Sadly, we will not be returning to Meliá Zahara

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR REST, DO NOT GO
Good half board and breakfast. However, during our stay, we suffered the inconvenience caused by a Pool Party held between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with an extraordinarily high music volume. The noise made it impossible to rest, converse normally, or enjoy the room in a quiet environment.
My wife complained at the front desk to express our grievance and request that the volume be turned down. We were told that the manager was “handling an incident” and could not see us. However, during the three hours the event lasted, no alternative was offered, and we did not receive any explanation or apology afterward either.
We understand that a hotel may organize entertainment activities for certain guests. What we do not consider reasonable is that such activities prevent the rest of the guests from resting.
