Cozy Rest Stop
Travelling back from Aranda del Duero we stopped here for a stretch. The cozy fireplace invited for a bit more...We had some wine, tapas and met a local lady with whom we had a great conversation. A little hidden gem that is much more than a gas stop or rest stop.

I wanted to comment on my experience, but I don’t think I’m going to waste my time, it was enough to read the reviews of the other users and I feel the same as them..I think the same, as for you, Don Felipe or whoever is responsible for this local pigsty, I find the answer you give to your customers very unprofessional, branding them as liars and saying that you will deny them entry and other nonsense, accept the criticism, and be more professional, filthy..

They ripped me off with the menu price
We stopped to eat a weekend menu, the menu was good the dining service was good but when it came to paying at the bar, I asked for the bill and was directly told the amount I had to pay, without giving me the ticket first. Since I didn’t stay as I reviewed it and what was my surprise that they had charged two euros more from each menu, but that’s not the thing, when I protested they told me that the cook had been wrong and you don’t let me return the money

I only review the restaurant.
We stayed in the same place, since it is a restaurant and a hotel. We arrived around six in the afternoon, we were tired from traveling. We went around seven thirty to eat something, they told us that they only had sandwiches from what was on the counter. Ok, we ordered two sandwiches, a Coca Cola and a water, and we went to sit at the table. After a while they called us from the bar that they had our order. They didn't serve it to us at the table, we had to go look for it, and with only one glass, I had to ask for another glass, I want to clarify that there were two waitresses and almost no people at that time. We come from Galicia and I never had to look for an order at the bar.
The next morning, since we were sleeping there, we went to have breakfast and it was more of the same at seven thirty, to get breakfast at the bar.
From now on zero kindness.
I will never come back.
They should be nicer to people.

No vuelva, no! Gente con su educación nos sobra. No servimos en las mesas de la barra, como en muchos sitios, el cliente se sienta donde desea con su consumición. No vemos inconveniente. Si llega usted a las 7 y media de la tarde, lógicamente no tenemos menú. Tenemos todo tipo de raciones y parrilla. Si usted es libre de poner lo que le parezca en su comentario, nosotros somos libres de contestarle. Que pase muy buen día......

Good Budget Hotel
We have stayed here twice in recent months - once on the way down Spain to the south coast and once on the way back.
I suspect this hotel has seen better times but it is spotlessly clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly.
It is located on a service road which is great if you are travelling north but is a bit difficult to get to if you are travelling south.
Essentially we had no problems with our rooms (or the cost) in either direction.
On both visits, we ate at the 24 hour cafe attached to the hotel and on both occasions we struggled to make ourselves understood (even though we both speak a bit of Spanish) and ended up with dishes not remotely like what we really wanted.
I suspect it is due to our Spanish not being up to the local accent and us not understanding what it is they serve at different times of day.
Having said that, yet again the serving staff were very friendly and did their best and the food that turned up was very good.
This place will be a regular stop for us on our travels through Spain - even though we will have to study the local accent.

We are very glad that you liked it. We have made a great effort to reform the hotel. The furniture is new, the beds .....
The hotel has lived other moments, but we assure you that they have been worse. It has taken us a lot to lift it.
Our English is not perfect either, but people willingly understand each other. We have a wide variety of food, the point is to get to know it little by little. At night we don't have Menu service, but you can dine perfectly.
Our priority is quality / price, cleanliness and good cuisine.
