Great location, very clean and confortable .
It was a great location close to the beach and with many pools on the premises to choose from . The breakfast that was included had a huge range but not really my thing. It was a lovely surprise to be given a bottle of fizz for my birthday. The outdoor concert at nights made it a bit hard to get to sleep.

Excellent hotel
This hotel is one of the nicest hotels we have visited. The staff from the receptionists, bar staff, waiters and maid service were excellent. Professional, helpful and courteous. We stayed in a top floor room and it was very good. Pool and sea view and with a huge balcony. Small bathroom but perfectly adequate. Plenty of pools to choose from due to the shared facilities with Don Pedro and Pablo. Sunbeds aplenty but obviously people had their preferred pool so there were issues with people towel reserving early, however after a warning, the hotel gave you 1 and a half hours to occupy your beds. A very good solution to a universal problem.Food excellent. We ate in the Don Pedro, smaller and more easy to navigate. We tried the Don Pablo, a lot bigger, but still very nice.Good entertainment, especially in the Beach Club. Will definitely return.

Lovely Hotel but very disappointed with management and Pool staff.
Our towels and all our stuff was taken from the Sun beds by Pool staff
just after we went for a break or coffee. I complaines to management, but they didnt want to help or change situation. This happened a few days and spoilt our holiday.

Meliá Platinum Alert: Sol Don Marco is an overpriced mass-market trap. Avoid the food and the traffic pollution!
As a long-time Meliá Rewards Platinum member for over 10 years who frequently stays at premium properties (like Melia Palma Marina, Meliá Barcelona Sarrià, Meliá Barcelona Sky, Meliá Costa del Sol, Meliá Palma Bay and many other countries Melia City Hotels), my 6-night stay at Sol Don Marco, the last week of June and the first week of July 2026 was a massive disappointment. Following recent room renovations, Sol has driven up its prices to nearly match the premium Meliá brand, but the actual quality remains stuck in low-end mass tourism. Here is the professional analysis of my stay: Predatory Solo Traveler Policy: The hotel’s booking system blocks single occupants from booking the Superior Front Sea View category. Management formally confirmed this is their policy (Ref: 2603181577). To get the room, I was forced to pay the full price for TWO adults. This is blatant discrimination against solo travelers. Tiny Rooms with Severe Traffic Noise & Pollution: For a double price, you get a compact 23 m² room/the Superior Front Sea View . While the glass balcony has a sea view, it directly faces a busy delivery and beach street. Delivery trucks for local hotels and restaurants roar relentlessly from 07:00 until 23:00. The continuous noise and exhaust fumes drift straight up, making the balcony completely unusable. The booking site deceptively hides this severe traffic pollution. Industrial, Processed Breakfast: The breakfast food quality across the complex (Don Pedro, Don Pablo, Don Marco) relies heavily on cheap convenience items. Tomatoes are sliced the night before (leaving them soggy and flavorless), salads come dry straight out of plastic bags, and carrots, sprouts, and beetroots are served out of industrial pre-made marinade packs. Zero Vegan/Vegetarian Inclusivity: In 2026, it is shocking that a 4-star European resort offers ZERO plant-based proteins (no tofu, lentils, or beans) at breakfast Buffet. This completely ignores modern European nutrition and a multi-billion euro market. Pure Greenwashing: Meliá heavily markets its 'Be Green' initiatives on signs to save water, but true sustainability starts in the kitchen. Relying on heavy plastic packaging, processed foods, and zero local agricultural sourcing while asking guests to reuse towels is the definition of greenwashing. Summary: Meliá International is using its master brand reputation to sell a cheap mass-tourism concept at premium prices. If you value real food, quiet rooms, fair booking policies for solo travelers, and true 4-star hospitality, look elsewhere

The hotel and location are great
We have just got home from this lovely hotel.
The rooms are very nice and clean with a kettle and a fridge, and there was a crazy pir light under the sink that kept coming on whilst you're in bed.
The staff are brilliant and try very hard to make everything just right.
The only problem is the food..... Cooked breakfast was always luke warm at the most and dinner was the same, and I can't understand why there are so many pork, fish and turkey dishes, On particular night there was was what seen like a company prize giving event and the noise was deafening.... you couldn't hear the person sitting right next to you... surely there was a room somewhere else they they could of had the their event... I do know it's hard to please everyone, . And what ever happened to the guy that did the stir-fry food?
