Great place for one night

We came from Madrid and needed a place for one night before driving to Valencia. We parked right outside the hotel on the street, and even though we were very late and arrived around midnight we were welcomed at the reception. We first got a room that has a strong smoking smell and upon request the lady agreed to switch us to another room. There are a few local bars within a short walking distance, and also a telepizza that was open past midnight.
Breakfast - minimal but cozy.
Overall I recommend the hotel!

Good location, inexpensive and ideal for access to the city and the airport

Stopped over for a night prior to a business meeting in Madrid the following day.
Positives:
Location, location, location - easy access to the city or the airport makes this a perfect stop over without all the expense of city/airport hotels and related parking charges.
The room rates are very reasonable and include a basic breakfast.
Clean and well maintained.
Friendly hosts.
Plenty nearby in terms of bars and restaurants.
Negatives (only small ones)
Only one plug socket in the corner of the room means leaving phones/laptops on the floor to charge. Should be by the desk or close to bedside furniture.
Bit stingy on the towel front (one half size bath towel isn't enough for one person).

Happily supprised.

This was a last minute booking. I paid a round £28 for the night, this included the charge for the dog and breakfast. The hotel was very easy to find and has easy parking (although not secure) all around. The town has plenty of bars and cafes around do you can easily get a drink or food. The room was very clean, but basic, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room though. The wifi was free and I had no connection problems and could easily stream films from the Internet. The staff on reception don't speak very much English. But check in was very easy and no complications. The room didn't have air con but the street was quiet and so the window was open. Plenty of great spaces to walk a dog too.
For the money the place was a find. I wouldn't want to spend more than a night here. But for a stop off on a car journey or the airport. I'd recommend it.

Good Stopover

Stayed here for a couple of nights... The location is good if you are driving... 20 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes to Madrid. The hotel is clean & the hosts are helpful. Only downside would be the breakfast is only a pastry & coffee/fruit juice. There's not much to do in Velilla but it's a good stopover if your travelling by car.

Good location

This hotel is a good location if you are looking for a quiet location and the location is a good place to stop off at if u are going to theme park or even the zoo and madrid (if you are driving by car) nice hosts who have tried to learn English I think it was family run hotel but it was very clean bathroom was very nice to stay in if you wanted to go to the town it's like 200 steps from the town square which is also nice area with friendly people but also quiet breakfast is nice overall was very impressed only problem was parking with a car after coming from back to hotel
