Disappointment: no reception, noisy and little maintained, far from the authenticity expected of a rural casa.
It all started badly: I had sent a message before our arrival to ask if beach towels were provided, but never received a reply.
Upon arrival, the welcome was particularly unpleasant. We were told that Booking had not made the payment, despite the fact that we had been debited for more than a week, with the threat of having to leave the establishment. This kind of situation is unacceptable for vacationing guests.
Thereafter, the welcome remained non-existent: no information about the surroundings, no advice, no human warmth. The establishment gives a cold and industrial feel, far from the authentic spirit expected in a rural casa.
The general maintenance also leaves something to be desired: the pool was neglected, the breakfasts were repetitive and composed mainly of industrial products, and the cleaning was very inadequate. The bed was not even redone by the cleaning team during the stay.
The property is also very poorly soundproofed. We were awakened very early in the morning by slamming doors, and we could constantly hear the occupants of the house above walking at night, which woke us up several times.
When choosing a rural casa, we expect a friendly experience, human warmth and local produce. Unfortunately, this was not our experience here at all.

The best years are around
Unfortunately, I was first in a room with mold infestation on the ceiling and partly walls. After a change to another room, I still have to stick with it: Most of it is run down and needs maintenance/repair. The equipment is outdated. Breakfast is cheap and plastic containers are already milky and look very old.
The staff is friendly and accommodating, as well as trying.

Standard is is run down nerds renovation. It could easily obtain a better class.

Check-in was handled at a separate location, which was slightly unusual, but check-out was simple and straightforward. Overall, for the price, this hotel offered a very good experience, and I would recommend it to travelers looking for good value.
