A Phenomenal Boutique Property!
This is one cool, artistic hotel with a vibrant and comfortable aesthetic.
Right in the heart of the city, Moxy is a boutique property within walking distance of anything and everything.
The hotel staff, including the valets, are wonderful, engaging, and helpful people. Same with the bartenders and kitchen staff. Everyone's fantastic. Special recognition for LeeMarilyn at check-in, Laurie at the bar, and the phenomenal Miguel who is one exceptional valet.
Art abounds, in every nook and cranny with sweeping themes from animals to the circus to fortune telling and to an array of warm colors.
Even in our excellent, spotless room, which was above the "Moxy" sign, the cool themes carried over. We had floor to ceiling windows, which welcomed in the city. The queen size bed was by far the most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel and we have traveled much over the years. The outstanding shower easily accommodates two adults.
Since this is a boutique hotel, the rooms may be smaller, but that only added to the comfort level. We actually enjoyed not having the run-of-the-mill microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker because this is not that kind of property.
Every corner of the hotel is fun and engaging.
To be completely sincere, if my girlfriend and I could by an apartment at the Moxy, we'd do so immediately.
We plan on returning sooner to stay a bit longer.

Room was clean upon arrival, the two complimentary drinks were a good surprise, very conveniently located in a very upbeat part of Allentown, definitely recommend cousins burgers just a couple blocks away!

Not for sports families
Interesting hotel, very modern and fun for people looking to not spend much time in their room. If you are looking to go out on the town this is the place for you. We were in town for a sports tournament and for us it was not at all what we needed. No ice machines, no fridge in the room and the rooms are VERY small with no extra tables etc... to put things out. Also like others have said the walls are thin and its very very loud. The only good thing about our stay was the staff. Super friendly and helpful.

If you go to bed at 9PM this is not the place for you
On a positive note the hotel itself is nicely finished.
The room was perfect for a solo traveler. Bathroom was nice. Very modern. There is a bar / lounge on the first floor which is also the check in desk. They do offer you a free drink coupon as well. The gym was great.
I stayed here on a Wednesday night and the bar on the first floor was so noisy from 8PM onwards. The room has paper thin walls and there is no option for white noise from a fan or HVAC. I tried going to sleep early and the noise kept me up for awhile.
This hotel might be your vibe but it was unfortunately not for me.
