I love this location!! Staff is very friendly, hotel is very comfortable, and they have great food options! Location is great too!

Not Worth the Money

The hotel is nice on the outside and some of the internal features are fine. This is not my 1st bad experience. The 1st time I stayed my room smelled like a sweaty athlete. I was only staying the night so I tolerated it. This time my shower head was DISGUSTING . I am glad that I carry my own cleaning wipes for this specific reason. I shouldn’t have to though. This one bed hotel room is approximately $650 for 4 nights and I would expect that it would be clean. The sofas are stained as well. (This is the 2nd time I have had a stained sofa. I would never sit on it!) Most of the hotels in Ames are not much better but for the price I would expect better. Please, ensure that housekeeping is cleaning your rooms. I have already done my cleaning so would prefer not to change rooms but this is not what I would expect to stay in for this price. Please do better!

Roaches all over the lobby floor and on elevator. Disgusting and very disappointing for a Marriott.

We got an upgrade due to bad bathroom smell. Everything good in the upgraded bedroom.

Left some clothes in the closet. Called and picked them up the next day, hangers rubber banded together. Left a tip. Hope it got to the right person!
