Top Shelf Experience
Recently went to Hotel Moraine on the heels of our 14d trip to the Hawaiian Islands in celebration of our 25th Anniversary. It was a spur of the moment trip out to the Greenport area and since we have never been that far out to the North Fork, and we liked wine country, Hotel Moraine seemed like a logical place to hang for a few nights. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Wow factor is immediate as soon as you pull into the property with a direct vista of the sound (and pool area) through the reception lobby. As an architect, I appreciated the design logic. The grounds are incredible and the views are quite stunning, and to be honest, you would have thought you were in a coastal area on the Mediterranean. Seen the sunsets in Santorini, Hawaii, Carmel by the sea, and gotta say, the sunset here is right up there. Staff is accommodating and the vibe is very chill.
Now, to keep it honest, this place ain't cheap, but for a special occasion or you want an ultra-private experience, this IS the spot. Continental breakfast is a bit anemic although it does technically fit the description. Also make sure you subscribe to a streaming service or the TV in your hotel room will be of little use. World Cup was playing when we were there, so it did drive me a bit nuts. All in all, still give this place two thumbs up and will likely come back for seconds.

North Fork Hotel Gem
We stayed here to celebrate my 50th birthday. It was so lovely! The pool with the view of the sound was beautiful. The little beach area with paddle boards was a nice touch. Everything was well appointed. Towels readily available at the communal areas. Rooms were roomy and comfortable. Nice community areas. Snacks and cocktails were yummy. My husband ordered flowers for our room and they also gave us a free bottle of prosecco to celebrate my birthday.

A Gem On Eastern Long Island!
My wife and I just returned from the Hotel Moraine! We have stayed there several times.and have never been disappointed.The Hotel is located on a bluff overlooking Long Island Sound .The views are spectacular and the sunsets are magnificent
The rooms in the hotel are spacious and modern.The Hotel also has a beautiful heated pool where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view and grounds.
They also offer a free continental breakfast . I would recommend the Hotel Moraine wholeheartedly

True gem
Hotel Moraine is a true escape. The ambience and location are so relaxing. Exquisite views from room and property take your breath away. The heated pool was large and lovely. The boutique size makes the property quiet and extremely private. All areas were immaculate and staff was politely attentive but not intrusive. GM is friendly and approachable. We will be back often.

A Wonderful Family Getaway on the North Fork
We had an excellent stay at Hotel Moraine and thoroughly enjoyed our family trip. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning waterfront views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax from the moment you arrive. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.
One of the highlights was spending time by the pool and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The location is also perfect for exploring Greenport and the North Fork while still feeling secluded and tranquil.
The only suggestion we would make is to extend the operating hours of the bar. It would have been wonderful to enjoy drinks and socialize a bit later into the evening while taking in the beautiful setting.
Overall, Hotel Moraine exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.
